Your videos are always enjoyable and informative, Big Fella. I've often wondered if you've ever felt a sense of gratitude from the frogs for giving them homes. They never seem skittish on video, but rather quite content. Surely goodness follows you for the good you do.
thanks mate, I'm sure they're grateful in their own way, but when they take to the bottoms of the gas tanks for shelter from the rain, I think gratitude isn't as primal of an urge as preservation. that said, they're not at all skittish around me, although the little ones aren't as conditioned to me being around. I'm not 'frog shepherd' but I think they like me being around and guiding them to where they want to go. most times, they're just slow about getting there. thanks again for watching. 🐸
@@bigfellavideography I have always been the one who people carry broken animals to. I've nursed so many injured animals back to health and in the beginning, they always seem either broken in spirit or frightened, but in the end, I have always felt a sense of kinship with them and oftentimes, they would come back to my home to be fed or perhaps they knew they were safe with me. Once after healing a raccoon, she bought her babies to visit me and they would eat from my hand. It's easy to believe that the frogs feel safe with you.
@@BearClanMan1970 that's a gift that not many have, and I'm not sure I have that same gift with these frogs.. they seem to have been conditioned to be around humans before I knew them. the smaller ones take some confidence-building but they're coming around.
watching a frog's behaviour, it seems that if they're comfortable in a place and not threatened, they'll stay there for as long as they want. some of the larger ones will stay in the pipes for weeks, go out for food and then return, and during their brumation (hibernation) cycle, they'll stay static in a pipe for months. the bottom line with a frog is, they seem to vote with their feet. 🐸
AAAA IT'S SO CUTEEE !!
I'm sure the frogs absolutely ADORE their own hotel
they love it - when they wanna use it. 🐸
Thank you, thoroughly enjoyed it! It’s given me some incentive to have a go 👏👏👏
awesome, glad that I could give some inspiration. thanks for watching. 🐸

They don’t jump out? Do they stay there all the time?
