1939 was the year God let the woman I was born from had seen the light of this world. She's my Mom. And she has been strong keeping home when we all needed most. Watching that movie I just found out there were many other cowgirls with courage, beauty and sharp withdrawing accurance when it was needed. Outstanding performance. Unforgetable movie!
You'd be surprised how many there were, Debra! Beginning in the 1940s there was a "cowgirl craze" that lasted until like 1960. It reached its peak in the 50s, when "shoot em up" westerns got big, and a whole cowgirl vigilante/crime fighter subgenre emerged in comics, TV & cinema. Some of the films are such empowering depictions that even some modern stuff looks weak compared to them. What's surprising is how early this movie is, only a few action cowgirls were made before 1940.
Very good Western you know 1939 they say is when Hollywood made their best movies it seems like every movie made in 1939 was a classic I've read that that was the best year for movies in Hollywood in their history it'll never be match that year

The singing I'll take the singing cowgirl over the singing cowboy any day very lovely lady I like her being the head of the movie the lead person this is one of the best b westerns you put on here made in 1939 the banner year for Hollywood that year every movie they made was a classic there will never be a year like that ever again for Hollywood Hollywood really is gone and done with they don't make movies like they used to anymore they're nothing special anymore just a bunch of stupid computer animation to replace the good actors that they used to have Michael Keaton's Batman movies we're pretty much the last of the good movies the Batman I really liked it they did pretty good with that one but it wasn't as good as Michael Keaton Tim Burton Danny elfman nothing will compare to that
I was going to watch this, but the name of 'Vince Barnett' in the credits was enough to turn me away. I've seen him in other films, and he ruins them all.
Movies nowadays aren't that great they're nothing special anymore it seems like they are made on an assembly line now cookie cutter movies The soul has been taken out of them the specialness even movies back in 1990 were better than what they have now I mean the Batman the new movie it doesn't even compare to Michael Keaton's version it's a good movie but Michael Keaton's movie was a cultural phenomena that never will be repeated there was only one golden age in Hollywood it's over and done with all we can do is relive it now enjoy the past the past greatness of Hollywood
Good Western with a true lovely cowgirl of the West, I enjoyed it. Thank you CCC!

Darned shame they don't make great films like this anymore. Today it's all Sex, Cussing and Gore.
Kkkkkkk o filme deve ser muito bom.... mais eu não falo inglês.
