Thanks for the question. I don't see any sharp reflections and if I shine a light on the monitor the light is dispersed. I hope that's what you wanted to know.
I did not try it. A 20% overclock seems a lot to me, especially for an IPS panel. And even if it somehow worked for me there would be no guarantee that it would work for you, since every panel is different. Even if the overclock was a success, it could come at the cost of the monitor skipping frames. Lastly, there is no telling what will happen to the components inside the monitor that would be working outside of their specs (overheating, faster degradation, immediate failure come to mind).
The 24MR400 is best out of all of them, its 2023 release date and has 100Hz. But it depends if you're looking for any other features, like multiple HDMI or DP inputs.
Hi friend from another continent, I just bought it and now I have it in my hands, the truth is that it is quite good, good image, sharp, do you have any recommendations? I lowered the brightness to 80% In my country for the same price there was also the MSI PRO MP243XW, but there was not much difference, and everyone I asked recommended LG, so I went for this one, plus your video was quite good. I am quite happy with this monitor, although I will have to get used to the size, since I use it on a 14-inch notebook and the change is gigantic xD
Hello Javier. I can only imagine what a big difference in size it is. As for my recommendation, it would have to be the colour accuracy. The cheapest way to adjust a monitor is to take a piece of white paper and put it over/besides the panel, then lower the R,G,B values until it is close to the paper white. Also, only lower the RGB values by a few points, as that will give you the best result.
Hey, of course you can use it with a console. However, if your plan is to play games at 120fps, then you'll need a monitor/tv that has at least 120Hz. In this case even though the monitor supports 100Hz, you would be able to play games on consoles only at 60fps and not 100fps, as that is not supported by consoles as far as I am aware.
Will the monitor work? Yes. However, you probably want to play the games at max fps, which I believe is 120 for the consoles. Unfortunately, since the monitor is only 100Hz it means that you can only play games at 60Hz (consoles either play at 60 or 120Hz). So for console gaming you want a monitor with at least 120Hz. I'll have to check if there is any cheap and decent console monitors.
There are no speakers as mentioned in the video when I did the sound test, but you do have a 3.5mm audio output. So you can use headphones, or speakers if you have them, but in that case the onboard motherboard audio is probably higher quality. Most cheap monitors in the $80 range have the same outputs 1xHDMI, 1x D-SUB, 1x 3.5mm audio output and no speakers. Depending on where you live you can also get some great deals, I saw a dell monitor 24" - IPS - 165Hz - 1ms - with 2 HDMI and DP outputs for $110. But that one too had no speakers, so if speakers are a must on the cheapest of 24" monitor then you will have to look around or find a good deal. If you're from Europe you can look on mydealz.de under the electronics section
I am aware that the economy is different in every country and sadly countries, like Brazil, get hit harder due to low income. There is inflation, which makes everything even more expensive. And then there is also the import tax that some countries have extremely high. So for humans that want a different lifestyle a change must be made, in this case a higher paying job and/or relocation to another country. However, you could also find something that you like doing and is in demand, sell your products/services, and also make videos on UA-cam to show how something is done and promote your business.
It is good for games, that is why I bought it. I have tested it with multiple FPS games and various Action RPGs. FreeSync (AdaptiveSync) helps prevent any screen tearing and 100Hz is a lot better than 60 or even 75.

@@jackalldiytech. Man it's damn pricey . Do u know any micro ATX black cabinet with side glass panel and full pre fit fans for less than 5000rs ?
Will this monitor have long lifespan?
I don't know, I hope that it holds more than 2 years. Then again I had a $200 monitor who's panel crapped in just a bit over 2 years.
Can you make it verticle ?
Do you mean if it can be rotated into portrait mode? It can not as the stand only has tilt adjustment. But it does have a VESA mount, so you can use a monitor arm.
@@jackalldiytech Thank you bro, ur video really helped me Im gonna buy this monitor as a secondary monitor after my exams plus gonna buy a monitor stand
Is the screen Anti glare?
Thanks for the question. I don't see any sharp reflections and if I shine a light on the monitor the light is dispersed. I hope that's what you wanted to know.
did you try to overclock to 120hz ?😃
I did not try it. A 20% overclock seems a lot to me, especially for an IPS panel. And even if it somehow worked for me there would be no guarantee that it would work for you, since every panel is different. Even if the overclock was a success, it could come at the cost of the monitor skipping frames. Lastly, there is no telling what will happen to the components inside the monitor that would be working outside of their specs (overheating, faster degradation, immediate failure come to mind).
Freesync can it be enabled from adrenaline software?
You should be able to enable it, if it doesn't work out of the box.
@@jackalldiytech . Thanks man.
24MP60G vs 24MP400 vs 24MR400 vs 24MP450 ?
The 24MR400 is best out of all of them, its 2023 release date and has 100Hz. But it depends if you're looking for any other features, like multiple HDMI or DP inputs.
@@jackalldiytech . Only need 1 hdmi port . Also I heard that MR is 99%sRGB while others are 72%NTSC colour gamut. Which is better ?
Hi friend from another continent, I just bought it and now I have it in my hands, the truth is that it is quite good, good image, sharp, do you have any recommendations? I lowered the brightness to 80%
In my country for the same price there was also the MSI PRO MP243XW, but there was not much difference, and everyone I asked recommended LG, so I went for this one, plus your video was quite good.
Can I use Xbox series s with it? Like how we do with the tv
Does it come with hdmi cable?
Yes, it comes with an HDMI cable, and you should use it if you have problems with any other cables you might want to use.
Does it have a tilt? Mine can’t 😢
The monitor does have tilt, maybe yours is just stiff. You can remove the stand and try to move the mounting point by hand
Would a ps4 work I don’t know the ps4 hertz and want a budget monitor for Fortnite
Does MP one have better stand?
As far as I know the stand is the same
@@jackalldiytech . Excellent. MR I buy then.
Tysm❤
You're welcome, and if you buy it I hope it serves you well
Does this monitor have speakers?
Does it rotate?
It doesn't have 90 degree rotation as the stand is very basic, no height adjustment as well. But you can tilt it forward and backwards.
Vocês deve agradecer a Deus por ter nascido nos eua 😢 aqui no brasil temos que trabalhar uns 2 meses pra conseguir comprar avista
However, you could also find something that you like doing and is in demand, sell your products/services, and also make videos on UA-cam to show how something is done and promote your business.
i buy it and is very good
😃
Is it good for gaming?
It is good for games, that is why I bought it. I have tested it with multiple FPS games and various Action RPGs. FreeSync (AdaptiveSync) helps prevent any screen tearing and 100Hz is a lot better than 60 or even 75.
Does it support 100Hz on hdmi ..In india it says :
Maximum Refresh Rate
100 Hz (Analog), 60 Hz (Digital)
It is 100Hz over HDMI and supposedly 75Hz over analog. But I don't have an appropriate GPU or adapters to test the VGA refresh rate.
@@adwaithrajesh4534 .Ya that's my same doubt lol
👍
Forrrr 80 eurrrrrrros
Now you need to work on the shitty sound quality of your videos!
Thanks for letting me know, I'll see what I can do!

Hey how can i turn gamemode on?
There's an LG app called onscreen control that gives you more control including the game mode.
