I love so much reading all the comments about this man, I always wanted him to be so very loved and decades later here it is an army of beautiful people who loves him as well. We will miss you forever you were a wizard and a warrior who helped us all in our dark days and best days always and forever Chris Cornell🌟🌟🌟
He could sing across 4 octave s with ease,,pretty incredible 4 octaves isn't impossible however its the way he projected his voice into the next octive what made more incredible, he was a baritone. He was a master!
What a treat to find song I’ve never heard before by Chris... he was never afraid to take chances with that beautiful voice. It blows my mind that he was so humble. You are missed Chris, every day.
and such moronic comments like yours are overrated...Cornell's song have always been praised, so your comment is really inappropriate and out of place. Just because every half-twit says under virutally every music video that every song is underrated does not mean that is true...ok?? Please stop, I am sick and tired of people repeating themselves just because they have learnt new word...
@@sebastiankrajewski2029 shut your dumbass up please, sir. I just stumbled upon this now, 10 years after it was originally uploaded, and however many since it was published, I'd say that's pretty fucking underrated.
JT WoodBoyne You have no idea,it's unfortunate he wasn't more popular but honestly that wasn't what he was really wanted..just wanted to master his craft and imo he did just that. I've listened to a lot of rock and he was the best of the best.Keep digging into his catalog, there's years worth of material to discover
Have somehow only just heard this, despite being a massive fan of all things Cornell/Eleven/Johannes.....this is definitely my favourite new thing today!
One of THE best vocal performances I've heard, and it's just hovering there behind the curtains... fuck! I just discovered it this week from the book 'Total fucking godhead' and I'm kinda bewildered by how good this song is. And also there is a deeper meaning for my comment, I wanted to share something else. A story of pain that has resurfaced. This is coming from a guy in a Baltic country growing up in a rather separated post soviet society. I fell heavily for grunge on my university days. Then there came the opportunity for me to visit and live in US for a month in 2017. A totally magical vacation with a little group of friends to a place I only knew from all those big 90s movies I grow up with. Everything was awesome. Then one night in Fremont our host asked me if I knew who Chris Cornell is and told me the news. Totally stunned. Many days filled with confusion and sadness. I wasn't in the same mindset with the wonderful places we visited after that. Something broke. I turned away from Chris's music altogether. It was all a trauma for me. But hey I'm taking steps now after I started the book. With the book came the songs again. One night after some beers and songs the tears just flowed. Like I rediscover something unbelievable every time he sings. I live in Estonia and a way back I had an opportunity to catch my first Soundgarden gig in Finland. I didn't go. I urge all you melomaniacs to catch your bands.. spending your money and time are nothing against the emotion and a memory gained. Man just look at the unique melody writing and the effortless dynamics of his singing in this.
Cannot believe I am only just hearing this! Why was this and their other work outside of Euphoria, so overlooked? It sounds amazing. I am also realising just how incredible the impact of Alain and Natasha was. I’m a huge Soundgarden fan but A & N seemed to provide an equally stunning foundation for Chris to ‘do his thing’ but in a way that was uniquely different to his other collaborations.
God I have been singing this song in my head and unable to find it again for like five YEARS. I just spent over an hour playing the start of every single song on all his albums, and Audioslave and even started on Soundgarden because I remembered the beginning but not the lyrics and it randomly showed uo in suggested songs 🫶 god finally
WOW! Didnt know that the tracks that didnt make it for euphoria mourning were around! I would love to check them all! do you know where/how could I get to them? cheers!
Chris master you were so special you had it all!you and your beautiful talent and person will never be forgotten believe me..rest sweetly shadow on the sun
This song isn't typical of Cornell's music. It's missing a bridge. The song formula is ABABBB end. Great melody and sound but it's missing a bridge. Maybe that's why it never got as famous as the other songs, it's missing a section to give it slightly more depth

Chris Cornell🌟🌟🌟
How have I just now found this? I loved everything about the Euphoria Morning era. This is amazing!
here as well
This track was supposed to be on the soundtrack for the animated film "Titan A.E." but it ended up not being used...
Totally agree!
His voice goes from blinding power to delicate highs in the blink of an eye, stunning song.

his voice makes the lyrics dance!

You are missed Chris, every day.
Can’t believe this was cut from the TitanAE soundtrack. What an amazing song!
A hidden gem, from the mind of three amazing musicians!
This song is so underrated. More people need to hear this masterpiece
stop putting "underrated" comment under every fucking music video! not everything is underrated!!

Fun Fact: This song was recorded and intended to be in the soundtrack for the 2000 animated film Titan A.E. However, it wasn't used in the movie.

The music is written by the band Eleven (same musicians who worked on Euphoria Mourning), he simply did the vocals for it
:(
Maybe its about Andy Wood?
im pretty sure he didnt write the lyrics for this song
