I think Analog Lab Pro (without the V Collection) would give the user access to all (some?) the presets/patches and some basic macro controls over them, but you can't launch the synth the preset was made for and edit it.
Analog lab comes with thousands of presets from everything in their V collection. You have access to tweak macros and fx. Every time a new synth comes out, they update analog lab for free with presets for that synth. The only thing you cannot do, is open the instrument and tweak it in instrument view. I'd say its a lot of value for money.
Im tryin to figure out if NI version of V Collection X..... is the same as Arturia Version ( content Download size ) ....other than the Cost difference of 299 vs 499
It is not "NI version". It is regular V collection X. They are just selling it, just like any other vendor might sell it. And the price is 299 because it is on sale
What's the difference between buying the Arturia V Collection from NI vs directly from Arturia? Is it the exact same product, or does buying it from NI somehow tie you do using NI stuff? How can NI sell Arturia stuff?
Because Arturia allows them to sell it? Just like Thomann, sweetwater etc are all selling V collection X. It is identical. They don't really care where you buy their product. NI has huge customer base so it makes sense for them to use the marketing power of NI. And their plugins are NKS compatitble
How is it on your hardware Jef? Because some of these VST file size are huge. I’ve never tried any of Auturia gear or apps due to $$. But I’ll check out the sale.
I've been meaning to give Arturia a go for a while.. I would jump right in but my workstation went pop the other day..... Being able to preview play patches before you buy them straight from the browser is amazing!!
Some of Arturia's V synths sound very good, and have useable presets. Overall, i find most of the presets are silly, obnoxious, or just insulting to include in these recreations of some of the greatest syths in history.
If you’re a Arturia customer they give you really great deals.

ive moved away from NI instruments since giving Arturia a red hot go. VERY pleased with the outcome
They have great stuff!
@@jefgibbons still use NI FX and G-rig.
My favorite NI content creator. 😊
Appreciate you!
Pigments is so good.

I own Arturia's VCX and FX5, and still found this overview informative. Honestly, these collections are so vast, don't know where to start. 😅
Christmas deal was even better 50% of this 50%

I'm not sure how I feel about NKS versions of Arturia
Does this sale include individual instrument samples or just virtual instruments/plugins?
It’s just the big instrument and fx collections and pigments. I don’t think individual ones are on sale.

I’ve never had problems, they’re generally small compared to big kontakt libraries etc.
@@jefgibbons thank you for feedback. I appreciate it.
Go grab the free analog lab version and give it a go. It a no risk high reward approach.
@@unchartedwaters thank you.
