Now that Mick has left the Bad Seeds, I hope that people will appreciate what an important member of the band he was. They will be nothing without him.
So Sad he's left the Bad Seeds. It won't be the same. As much as I like Warren and the Dirty Three I wonder whether Mick was pushed aside slightly. Anyway I've always liked his Solo stuff and will continue supporting him post Bad seeds. Big Kiss Mick
There is a photograph in a haunted room filled with memories that have gone too soon & as I pass by every day I say why does it make me feel this way... There is life in the setting of the sun & you know I think that it should go on but as it turns around I have to say Why does it make me feel this way.... Laughing sun & laughing moon I know they sould be & I want to be to but as it turns out I have to say Why does it make me feel this way.....
Mick was indeed a great contributor to Nick cave's music but the songs where mostly of nick's hand Bargeld and Harvey where his wing men who did some great additions to the songs but beeing the driving force would credit them a little bit to much I think. At the moment Warren Ellis could be considered as a much greater part of caves music.
I like Cave but I much prefer listening Mick Harvey, Roland S. Howard or Conway Savage when they play by their own. Their simplicity and elegance get much deeper into me, and there is some kind of authenticity in them that I don't find in Cave, maybe because of his pretenciousness.
Mick Harvey putted his soul into the song when he was singing, a really beautiful and pure song.
Omg I discovered this masterpiece yet .Greetings from Adana
Great cover of a awesome song. Bailey told me he liked it too. Rest In Peace Chris Bailey

Actually better than the original. More stripped back. Nice.
