I love this recipe! I did have to substitute a few things though. I didn't have cherries so I used juice from a can of fruit cotail, it was pear juice. I used light brown sugar and organic blue agave syrup instead. I happened to have a fresh pineapple too. When using corn starch don't dump it in, sift it in slowly. If its not thick enough then take some of the glaze into a separate container sift in more corn starch then add it with the rest of the liquid. I messed up with the corn starch and had to strain it out of the glaze. I kept back some of the glaze and used it when I based the ham for a darker color.

I love this. A definite must try for me. I just took the pineapple's in the can iy it on the stove with some white sugar until it was boiling. while that was happening, I was letting my ham cook for a little while then poured the sauce all over and let it broil in. That ham was gone girl. I'm going to try this next.

Wow. Believe it or not, I've never had glazed ham. Looks like I've been missing out big time. My fave Holiday food (aside from cookies and fudge of course) is good ol' roast turkey. I cook it in cheesecloth, basting it with a truckload of melted butter -- the way my mother used to do it. :)
