I want to make a ride to Birmingham with my Son on our motorcycles . An adventure, are there camp grounds ect ? What about the races ? Should make a wonderful ride. He just finishing a 1980 cb900c, 10speed. He has turned into very nice sports Cruiser ! Funny that it rides better than almost any bike I’ve ever ridden . He went through the air ride suspension and it works wonders. Like riding waves in boat instead of a bounce . Wonderful for my back !
I was in London with my daughter & son-in-law. All I wanted to do was go to this museum, and additionally the Sammy Miller Museum. The kids dragged me all over London, and it was the worst day of my trip :>(
Went to the museum a few years ago by motorbike and was "shocked" that there were no facilities for storing riding gear ( securely would have been better ) . Same thing at Sammy Millers museum . Still , who wants scumbag motorcyclist's visiting their motorcycle museums . Rant over , have a safe and happy New year everyone .
Didn't see one Cooper in all of them. This building needs to be extended to more than twice it's length. So a visitor can actually see the machine applications chosen. That would involve moving every other bike out and moving them all down into the new wing of the building.
I'm certain it's the one near Birmingham airport Meriden. It suffered a very severe fire but many of the damaged bikes have been restored. It's a great day out but you really need two to make it worth it. Mainly British bikes but nevertheless a must see.
As opposed to almost every museum in America, where there are all sorts of different bikes represented….grey Harleys, black Harleys, blue Harleys, green Harleys, red Harleys, cream Harleys, chrome Harleys, army Harleys, Elvis’s Harley, customised Harleys, and that one, red, Indian Chief.
The biggest problem I have with motorcycle museums is they take something that is kinetic and make it static. They put something that was designed for motion on display. I know they are expensive but they were all designed to move, to get hot and to make noise and they don't anymore. It's sad but probably necessary.
That's true of all vehicle museums. The railway museum does at least own a few locomotives that are loaned out and still in steam. This museum looks rather old fashioned, with lots of bikes crammed in together and little in the way of interpretive video, interactivity or talks. Cool bikes all the same.
So many beautiful motorcycles in one spot ! I’d ride a different one every day !
Thanks for the great video, and a huge thanks for not ruining it with crappy background music.
Thanks 👍

Tell me: do you have a special medical condition where it would 'KILL' you to tell us where this place is????
You probably don't care to hear this, but Google really is your friend. It won't "KILL" you. It won't even hurt, I promise.

Nice video but where is this???
Bickenhill
Not the National MC Museum in Anamosa, Iowa! Which in my not so humble opinion, is much cooler!
What’s not so cool, is that it’s closing this year.
40 minutes of mostly Brit bikes.. if thats what your into.

@@alexwilsonpottery3733 the video title should read "Museum of mostly Brit bikes",
and save us from 'click bait'.

I’m guessing if your whining about the way it was shot, because you can’t appreciate motorcycles, you don’t appreciate them in the first place.
