Thank you of your work. I'm from Finland and the word thought is very hard. Especially in situations where there is lot of background noise the non-native English speaker would not hear and would not understand. It's so damn irritating to use 'thought' word and it's so common too so, I then just started using 'I was thinking..' or something else. much easier then.

It's definitely a tough word. You might find that if you break it up in a new way, or write the sounds in new way, you can get it. Sometimes it's hard to change a word when we have a habit on the word. For "thought," you can try "thaw, thawt" or "ought, thought," for example.
