Theobalds Park 1st June 2018

I take my GoPro most places when I travel as I enjoy recording for my own satisfaction, locations I have fond memories of. I went to Theobalds Park school in the late 1960s. I post this amateur video for those that may also remember this great building and the fantastic times most of us had.

I went to Theobalds 59 to 63 and had a wonderful time, yes even when you were caned it was a laugh. In my last year I honestly can't remember doing any work, helped the groundsman mark out the football and cricket pitches, helped organise the school sports, plays and helped the gardener but as for school work NOOOOO.

I worked there for 3 months in the summer of 2006 on the grounds maintenance team, would have liked to have seen more of the grounds, but did bring back some nice memories

Such a beautiful building, we sure didn't appreciate it then, the worst bit was the 'Pit" lol

Clipsbyme please can you help? My Great Uncle attended Theobalds College according to the 1881 Census. Most history does not record its being a school or college that early. Can you direct me anywhere as it is a mystery how he was there prior to joining the Royal Navy.
