You can use the SLC 1250 to wing. It is actually really fun and works well. Will need some more wind and as mentioned it is better to start with a much bigger wing. The main issue is that the SLC was not designed to deal with the load of winging. That is why they came out with a wing specific line of foils.
Speaking of flipping wings... do that enough in the same direction enough times and my leash gets twisted. Is anyone doing a ratchet style leash (f-one) but with a swivel connector (o-zone)?
Nice review Nuzz! CORE nailed it on the XC wing.

How does the top speed wing foiling compare to top speed Kiting? Curious if you can really get ripping or if it’s more of a laid back experience
Winging you can get up into the mid to high 20s and same for twin tip on the kite. It feels a lot faster on the wing and foil though.
How's your wrist? Cramping, yet? Time to get a harness.
😂 I have been using a harness a bunch this summer to get used to it. I’m not the biggest fan but it does help on long upwind tacks.
Is it possible to use the 1250 SLC foil with this wing to start winging? I know the board has too few litres for a beginner.
When you weigh 60 kg. It's fine. I am 80 kg and started with 2100 cm2 foil and 6 meter wing

Armstrong wing leash doesn’t twist up. That is the leash I use on all wings and it is awesome.
