DEBATE TIME: This year's WR class is stacked with so many talented players. While Oklahoma WR Dede Westbrook sure is fast, I'd say John Ross is faster of the two. Let me know who you think is faster among the two or if there's another WR in college football who is faster.

No, this is what happens when a team that has no idea what they're doing, and has no idea how to use players effectively. NYG has embarassed themselves 😂 ... example: Kadarius toney, they wouldn't use him right, or play him, the chiefs got him, and wah lah, 23 will be big for him BUT... Ross? Oh yeah, the chiefs got him, 23 he'll look different lol

For some reason he doesn't look as fast on a field as the 40 he ran. That said he does have good hands catching the ball. I do see his under size being a problem in the NFL though. If guys jam him at the line not sure he can win that. Almost looks like a much better returner to me than receiver like a Desmond Howard type that will win you a game sometimes.
jason gruntkosky I thought he was the fastest receiver in college just based off of his film way before the combine... It's safe to say he's every bit as fast in gear.
jason gruntkosky true but likely he will be in the slot most of the time which is harder to jam and IMO quick guys can get past a jam more easily if they can switch the defenders hips the wrong way

Hahahah him AND Green..that might be even more unfair stack than when Atlanta had Roddy White and rookie Julio Jones, because AJ Green has WAY more time left than Roddy but is already (and was when he showed up as we see in hindsight) that top tier WR talent. John Ross can be that quality kind of guy too, if used right.
Some of those routes were hysterically clean, and some were just so damn quick you're beat before you react.
Fast and good hands. Definitely top 5 receiver. Should go in the first round.
Thank God this kid finally has a Head Coach & organization that is gonna know how to exploit his strengths and how to use him. Oh and Patrick Mahomes wont be underthrowin ya bud lol... got a raw gig in NYG because obxiouslu they have no clue wth they're doin (ex: Kadarius Toney).... hopefully Toney shows his true potential along with John Ross, and Justin ross. ... in 2023-24..... Makes a big difference when people that know wth theyre doin is in control of someones career

I don't think you can compare many people to Calvin Johnson because not many receivers are 6'5 and thats something you really have to take into consideration because at 6'5 with Calvin's speed, he was near unstoppable. Mike Williams is not 6'5 and is barely 6'3. To me..

Mike Williams = Michael Crabtree (amazing catch radius so its not a knock on Williams)

He makes his quarterback look good because his speed allows him to blow past defenders. So when he has to wait for too many short passes he looks to still make a big play when he can score without even getting touched

Jacob Yeager Hill runs a 4.25. Ross was timed at a 4.25 during camp in the spring. They're the same speed. Only difference is Ross isn't a domestic abuser.

Winston has no #2 WR of course they need him. Winston targets Evans to much. This leads to him standing in the pocket to long, because Evans is getting double & tripled teamed. A Rb could wait especially in this class of RBs. Last yr was a minor setback due to 5+ injuries at the RB position. If Cook is there I say the Bucs take him, if not they'll take a WR. Who will most likely be Ross, Saftey is also a top need. The Browns and the Bucs have the worst Safety pair in the NFL. DE position is not that bad. I don't see why everyone say's we need one. But I wouldn't pick one in the 1st. Bucs don't have a good history of picking good DE's in the 1st round. I believe we need a DT over a DE.
