Nice explanation but I have one question:
If we can access any property or method directly by making that static, then why usually we make object of class and then access their methods. Is it not easy to make static and easily access with return class_name::method_name. Please explain.

It is so because static properties and methods are shared by the objects i.e we cannot assign them unique value for each object. If a change is made in them it is visible for all the objects!
