- We got to take some of the very first Haines Signature 640SF models for a ride at the media day on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. There was a centre console powered by a V6 Mercury 225hp 4-stroke and a side console version that was rigged with a Suzuki 200.
With all of the media there, we were unable to complete a full test on these rigs, but I assume that we will be able to get our hands on one in a while dto do all of the data (and maybe some fishing).
Also, note that the side console 640 will flush-mount a 19" sounder - not just a 16" like Steve described.

Great review Steve (as always). Good quality Australian made product that we come to expect from Haines.
Thanks 👍
Love my 543SF. I think you're right, this seems to be more oriented towards blue water. Not that the 543 isn't great offshore, it is, but a little more bulk would be nice when wide.
Thanks for sharing
Cannot wait for mine 😝 bring it on
Nice, give us an update when you get her mate🤙
Beautiful looking boat 100/130k wow
Sure is!
Whats the gunnel height on these bad boys? They look higher than the 543s which is a winner out wide!
There was a 543 there in the test day and these felt a bit higher. You'll have to check out the website for specs.
What about a centre cabin, somewhere to get out of the weather, somewhere to sleep and you can still cast from the front.
yeah there are about 50 other choices you have in that department
But they don't all ride like a Signature.
130 grand? Fuck that !
Go for couple of days out for serious adventure??? Where i sleep and go toliet and cook food???
Adventure isn’t in a hotel room. Swag. Fire. Hole.
Nice boat but way too pricey for what i see.
Fair enough!
The website is awful. They show you the 640SF with T - Top and then proceed not to show it. Just various shots of these boats, which are great boats but show some attention to detail.
There’s 4 pages of detail shots in Fishing Monthly when. The review is published.
@@FishingMonthly Thank you for doing their job for them. You should sell them the pictures and tell them their website GALLERY is confusing.
