A petition for the Kenyan government to use Mobius as the national vehicle rather than importing cars from abroad

I love how he relates to the car like a lady... Without visuals utasema ni Nyambura anaogeleshwa
It's good that we are assembling here. It will develop to manufacturing some day
I will buy and tune this one when I get money
I love the presentation and delivery. Good job
Glad you liked it!
Great video! We should definitely encourage Kenyan-produced goods. While I understand that Mobius cars are primarily assembled in Kenya, it's a significant step towards local manufacturing. This lays the foundation for further industrial growth. Overall, there should be increased advertising efforts to promote these vehicles, along with initiatives to make them more affordable. This will not only support the local economy but also foster the development of a thriving automotive industry in Kenya.
They are extremely expensive. They dont worth the price
Mobius should build a pickup and double cab version of this vehicle,i am sure they would sell like hotcakes.
I agree and even sent the CEO an email a while back to have them modify and use them for tourism which would raise their profile tremendously all over Africa, but never heard back.

It's very unfortunate.that your brilliant advice was ignored. Pick-ups and expedition tour vans are very popular in Kenya and Africa.A ladder on frame chassis can be easily modified into several body styles.
Mobius isn't designing or manufacturing them, they buy them basically as a kit, from China. And then assemble them in Kenya. So unless the company in China makes a pickup, it won't happen.

Cooperate red tape,i would say.
Do u mind sharing the safety test data, and are they comparable to ISO? Am curious because we have no crash test facility in Kenya!
it seems like Jeep open sourced the wrangler, so many clones of it.
Since it has been excempted from all those taxes you have said ..we expected it to be pocket friendly..less than say 2.5m..ama aje wadaauu?
a win for kenya
I think they don’t do enough marketing not a lot of Kenyans know about this car.
4:11 Good presentation, how much does it cost?
Looks good but it's cost was not talked about, how to acquire, is it pocket friendly
Costs approximately 7.6 million depending on options. Good price for a zero mileage vehicle.
Looks like a mix of jeep and Land Rover
Made in China .... assembled in Kenya, South Africa, Nigeria etc ...... cost is subjective ..... the concern is crash test of the car of what Mobius is not telling us
It's a rebadged Chinese baic 50,also sold in Nigeria as innosson 😂
Nations starts by assembling them move towards manufacturing. China started there
What did she say about fuel consumption?
a lot of Mercedes on the dash, na iyo steering ni ya merc
Cost
In SA thy say it's SA' car so ni ya kina nani
how can a car be founded and designed by a british foreigner and call it our own. let an indigenous kenyan do all the work and we can proudly call it ours....
I don't know whose copying whom but there is a Chinese vehicle that looks like the Mobius only the logo different, nothing unique here
Walikosea ni Moibus
