    So relaxing and such nice viz. No "dust ups". Make me wanna hop in the car, leave this 28 degree weather, do the 16 hour road trip and dive there tomorrow. Thanks a bunch for posting.

    Been waiting for another cave dive video Guy. Still really enjoy your travel ones too. Beautiful cave and love the color hues in it. The music was perfect too. Didn't even notice any camera shake.

      Thanks! I guess I'm a bit too critical of my own technique. To me it was more shaky than usual. At least it showed the beauty of that tunnel.

    I attempted this tunnel with some buddies yesterday, we jumped off the peanut line and made it about 100 ft past the T before turning the dive. Lots of silt in this tunnel much respect to your video you make it look easy and it is not.

      Thanks for the nice compliment. Sorry you didn't get to see the tunnel. It is quite pretty!

    Awesome video. And you took it nice and slow.

      Thanks. Yes, I like to go slow in small tunnels to show the beauty that abounds there.

    Great color Sir. Was wondering why the video was stuttering, 60FPS. Trying to find someone to teach me side mount in Seminole. My steel 95's are killing me.

      @GuyBryantCaveDiver  4 роки тому +1

      I shot this one at 60 fps to up the quality from previous videos. The draw back is it can stutter on playback due to varying internet band width. If I'm not mistaken you can change the play back quality in UA-cam to more accommodate lesser band width. For side mount you might want to check out Edd Sorrenson in Marianna.

    Really nice video. Tracy looks great, lighting is perfect and you held the camera just fine. I appreciate what you mean though about tired arms, especially in the low silty stuff. My SAC rate suffers when I’m videoing. Do you notice that?

    • @GuyBryantCaveDiver
      @GuyBryantCaveDiver  3 роки тому

      Thanks for the complements. Yes, my SAC rate goes down a bit when I video too. The more you task load, the more it suffers.

    Where is this in Peacock? Looking at the map I don't see it, I would guess it is on the upper left corner based on the location of Baptizing, but the only thing named up there is Woody's room.

    • @GuyBryantCaveDiver
      @GuyBryantCaveDiver  4 роки тому

      It is the tunnel on the left about 75 feet before the Peanut Restriction as you approach it from Peacock I. The tunnel is the small one from there heading north and seems to terminate at a small pit on the map. The map basically stops there. At the bottom of the pit the line T's to a left and right. The left doesn't go far, but the right line is the one that connects with Baptizing Spring. It's a nasty looking tunnel and requires no-mount diving in a few spots.

      @@GuyBryantCaveDiver hmm I think I see what you are talking about, is it the tunnel is labeled 1,732ft from Olsen?

    • @GuyBryantCaveDiver
      @GuyBryantCaveDiver  4 роки тому

      @@Teampegleg not sure. I don’t have that map. If you look at the map and see where Challenge Sink is, then look to the left you will see where a tunnel ends. It ends at a small pit. That long shallow tunnel is it. Depths are in the 30’s.

      @Teampegleg 4 роки тому

      @@GuyBryantCaveDiver Cool looks like we are talking about the same tunnel. Did you do it all on your back gas?
      I am going to add this tunnel to the list of places I want to visit at Peacock.

    • @GuyBryantCaveDiver
      @GuyBryantCaveDiver  4 роки тому +1

      @@Teampegleg it can be done from Peacock I, but it might be close on back gas unless you have a good sac rate. If you staged it that would give you more time to relax and enjoy the tunnel. Go slow to avoid stirring up silt. Every time I have dived it, it usually takes about 2 hours BT. I go slow so that my vis on exit is as good on entry. Seeing it in reverse is like another dive as it looks a bit different.

    Can't the air pocket build up from open circuit damage or compromise the caves?

    • @GuyBryantCaveDiver
      @GuyBryantCaveDiver  3 роки тому

      Not really, it dissolves back into the water within a day or two.
