Wow, amazing solo summit climb of Mt. Baker! The beautiful sunrise and stunning volcanic scenery made for an inspiring and enjoyable hike. Thanks for sharing your adventure-your passion for the mountains truly shines through! Count me a s new sub.
Do you know what is one unique thing Mount Baker has with one other Washington Volcano? Answer: Caldera exploration under summit glaciers. Amid hot toxic gas, where steam explosions cause rock falls, and underfoot come tremors of what could be worse for Washington.
@@jaredempey5706 I started a little too early that I was going to summit much earlier than sunrise. So I stopped and attempted to nap around 8,000 feet. Definitely took a long nap once I got home!
I prefer off NF#12 to tent at the steam vent caves between Sherman Peak and Mt. Baker. Dislike the Hot springs pool near your route due to sex toys found therein
What a spectacle. Sunset and sunrise were a delight. Just brilliant. Great rendition of a thousand miles. All with the mountain beaver blessing.

Love the singing lol 😂😂
Where’s the ice axe?
Great job. 11 hours is pretty good, considering the time of night you started at. Hopefully, you got a a good nap after walking all night.

@huntervoris7779 If you could have done it again, what time would you have started at?
I think at the pace I was moving I could have been at the summit in 6-7 hours. So I think 11:00 to midnight would have been perfect
You are great
@@jasonkim8295 thanks man! you are great too!!
Let me know if you ever want someone to tagalong. Would love to learn from more experienced hikers.
