Truly blessed to hear this story in such a simplified yet esoteric form! Om Namah Shivay! My prostrations to Guruji Ravi Svobodaji and the immortal Vimalanandji Maharaj.
Dear Robert जी, if you come to Pune again i would be glad to host you and show you some Shiva temples you might not have seen. Would love to meet you. May Mahadeva bless you 🙏
49:22 I reckon deep down, Shiva kinda senses it. He's just puttin' little Ganesha through the paces 'cause Shiva's been watchin' over Parvati for so darn long, and he wants to be sure Ganesha's ready for the job, which is such a dad thing to do ( I mean, you ever been asked by your old man to go get some 'blinker fluid'?). Plus, Shiva wanted to hand Ganesha somethin' himself, ya know? Parvati gave him his body, so Shiva thought he'd pitch in with givin' him his head 'cause, well, while a mama nurtures the body, a papa gives a kid his smarts or "head."
50:39 My guruji says it's 'cause one of Ganesha's gigs was to take down this asura dude with an elephant head named Gajamukhasura. And y'know, everyone figures only an elephant can handle an elephant in a brawl (like the movie Gumki). It's like a theme in Hindu texts-there's always some bad guy counterpart: like Hayasiras for Hayagriva, Mahashani for Shanishwara (who Vrishakapi, pretty much Hanuman, took down), Vali for Sugriva, and so on.
Didn't want to change the 108 likes. That said it might be auspicious to add the 109th. Thank you, teacher. Such a masterful storyteller with admirable devotion, intelligence, humility, learning, and sense of humor - facilitated by a balanced POV and grounded communication.
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️ you are so knowledgeable Sir. This is why it is Sanatan no boundaries ❤ sad part is we Idiots being born in this Great culture don't study or value it as much as people like you do. Your study of scriptures and knowledge of Bharat is impeccable 👌 your pronunciations are so accurate. Wish I find a Guru as you did, so I can gain knowledge. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Thanks for these beautiful stories. Om Namah shivaya ❤

It'd so great if Dr Svoboda can explain the symbolism behind these stories in detail. The story telling style was so captivating, I was completely hooked. Would love if you could turn this into a storytelling series. A story followed by the symbolism explication would help us laymen a lot.
Dr. Robert, Namakaram 🙏 Would you by any chance have the right and full Sanskrit wordings of the Dasharatha Shani Stotram? I am unable to confirm which one amongst many that I find online is correct. Many thanks for taking a look. BVK.
