the only thing that is currently going through my head is a never ending cycle of “hello everyone, glad you could make it, my name is kaylee ellen” in the exact same pitch that she says it in lol
Kaylee: “Anthurium clarinervium is not that expensive” Me, an Australian: *best price for a seedling I’ve found was $200, established plants range from $600-$800 and beyond* 😭😭😭
Always interesting to hear how common or cheap some aroids are overseas. in NZ a full grown anthurium is about $600-1000 easily for a small 2 leaf cutting lol
My top ten anthurium in no order: 1. Clarinervium (my first anthurium that spurred me on my love/hate relationship with anthurium haha, thank god they're cheap here in the UK and easy to find unlike in the States or Australia) 2. Vittarifolium (especially in flo) 3. Wendlingeri (my dream pendant anthurium plant, I want all forms as well!) 4. Warocqueanum (this is my love/hate plant haha, so temperamental) 5. Veitchii (who doesn't love those crazy abs/ruching) 6. Regale (just the size alone, oh my God! Unfortunately I don't have enough space in my greenhouse so I have a magnificum dark form which is also super pretty) 7. Salgarense (super easy to care for, amazing long petioles, the only time I don't mind a plant getting leggy, and OMG if you see this plant in mature form you'll understand why I love this) 8. Nutibarense (I want one of these so badly but I hardly ever see them for sale here, but how cute are their little corrugated leaves?!) 9. Luxurians (also very hard to come by in UK/Europe and expensive, but that corrugated pattern is mesmerising) 10. Ovatifolium (such a different leaf pattern which is surprisingly OCD satisfying haha)
Here after my wendlingeri convo with you today. Haha, still cannot wait till you get your hands on some of those spirally-inflo producing pendant goddesses! I'm number one on the waiting list! And I actually hate warocqueanum, only because mine has been reduced to a stump and is sitting sadly in a pot of perlite right now, haha, otherwise, nope, totally love them, probably my favourite anthurium leaves.
Yes a philodendron, monstera and alocasia top ten would be lovely! I don’t have experience with anthurium yet but I also like bird nest ones, especially when variegated 💙💕
Dear Kaylee, seems that u are a shining role model for a lot of plant lovers here on UA-cam. As you are to me also. Thanx a lot for that. Please keep up doing that excellent videos. Greetings from Germany.
Would totally love to see a video on Maranta plants. I really want a Gus of my own and their leaf patterns are just gorgeous. P.S. my plants are sending you love Kaylee, and I hope you are staying well and safe :)
Will you be putting any of the Anthurium Clarinervium up for sale on your shop? I've been looking to buy one ever since i saw you recommend them in your easy rare plant video series. I just can't seem to find them available anywhere in the UK at the moment.
My very favorite Philodendron is bipennifolium. Next may be the hybrid "Bob See" because of its nearly geometric leaf structure. So many parallels and sharp angles!
if I made the list I would have had at least one birds nest anthurium. I know those aren't kaylee's jam but they are tough as nails and can handle down to 30% humidity! They also get massive and they give me fern vibes.
Hello kaylee can you do a video pointing out the major differences on the different anthuriums- clarinervium, magnifícum, firgetii , crystallinum etc. As well as the other long leaves anthurium. That way, it would be easy to tell one from the other.
I love that monstera in the background! I would like to see you top 10 monstera and philodendron list. I don’t really have 10 fave anthurium but my fave and only one I have is the vetchii
Green is your color. My favorite anthuriums are the regular ones. The ones you can find everywhere. Interestingly enough, I'm experiencing a lot of trouble growing them. They rot, the leaves turn yellow or brown, etc. I used to grow them easily but for some reason now I can't. I'm having more success growing the more hard to find ones, if that makes any sense. Do you have any suggestions for me? Thank you! I love your videos.
This might come across as a stupid comment, but when they import plants via air fright, do the plants not absolutely freeze in the plane cargo? I thought the cargo doesn't get heated as much as the cabin.
It's not a stupid comment! The plants don't usually freeze, but in colder climates or in the winter, most people import with heat packs to mitigate damage. Nevertheless, most plants travelling overseas end up with some kind of cold or stress damage
I would love to watch your top 10's for basically every category, with Alocasia being one of the next videos if possible :) Also, although there are a lot of videos about pests, very few actually show examples of damage to look for. Maybe if you have some footage about how you can recognize pest damage and how to know when to treat, when to be sure they are gone, what to do when you start seeing speckling/brown spots on not-yet unfurled leaves, etc. etc. that would be amazing! I am hovering over my plants and get worried every time I see some speckling, yellowing, a few brown spots or even little fluffs and dirt that get on the leaves. :)
Love your videos! Your videos were my first exposure to Anthurium and I just bought my first one being an Anthurium clarinervium and I am so excited :)
I would really love to see a top 10 video for smaller spaces! I have the humidity where I need it, the temperature, the light, everything.. but so many of these gorgeous plants get BIIIIIG. Any chance of making a video for those of us dealing with a crunch space wise (either vertically or horizontally), and what rarer/more interesting/more beautiful plants would be best suited? I know it's a little different from your usual wheelhouse but I bet lots of us would appreciate it! I've looked mostly at self-heading philos and calatheas, but I'm starting to fall in love with alocasias and anthuriums, but having trouble figuring out which won't get to be five feet tall or need an enormous moss pole/support. :D
So you are more interested in the leaves of the plant than the spathe? Maybe you can tell me why my spathes on my plant are green and have not turned red? Any ideas? Too much indirect sunlight?
i don't have enough anthurium to have a top 10 i think, but my favourites are definitely the pendulous and long-leafed ones!! my only anthurium is a vittarifolium and i had to hunt like mad to find that bad boy in the uk!! i love it so much though 💖
Omg, of all the times I wished you shipped to the USA, this is that time. I've been trying to get that warocqueanum hybrid FOR EVER!!!...and you have 6 in shop? SIX??? They are just impossible to find here in the states. As far as my top 10 favs, they are ( in no particular order)... 1. Clarinervium 2. Veitchii 3. waterburyanum 4. pedatoradiatum 5. wendingeri 6. queen of hearts 7. water dragon 8. barklee 9.macrolobium 10. draconopterum Ps. I'm probably one of the few that thinks the warocqueanum is just "meh". I don't find it terribly fussy, but I also don't find it very rewarding either. P.p.s. I have a Villenaorum en route, so once it's in my paws, my list may change!
Also have to add that the warocqueanum I got some time ago is probably a dark form but was super hard to care for (hence the stumpified status) but I think I may have just got a dodgy one from the seller that never acclimatised before being shipped to me :(
Kaylee--have you ever come across Anthurium andicola? What do you know about this plant??? I found two and bought them and there is little to no info about them anywhere...!
I'm loving your videos. I appreciate your insights and how thorough you are. I want to throw a really cool rare anthurium variety out there you should look into. Anthurium podophyllum. It creates spectacular split lobed leaves that can be very large. The lobe splits become more pronounced as the young plant matures.
the only thing that is currently going through my head is a never ending cycle of “hello everyone, glad you could make it, my name is kaylee ellen” in the exact same pitch that she says it in lol
Muah , will be " the party is on the back " .... bhahahaha 🤣 bhahahaha 🥰
I say it with her every time, trying to mimic the accent and all 😂😂
It's almost musical right?
@@TheJazzstanton You're not alone
*everybody
And it’s playing in my head too
Anthuriums are low key the nude lipstick of the plant world. Just different enough to justify keeping all 20 shades you have in your makeup drawer.
Good comparison. For me it's black t-shirts :D
Jessica Gray LOVE THIS COMPARISON!!! Hahha it’s perfect
Mind blown!!! The perfect description for them
Lol 🤣
Best backdrop ever!
Would I like to see a top ten monstera or philodendron? Kaylee, I would literally watch your top ten favourite bog rolls. XD
yassss do your top ten fave philos, and then top ten fave AROIDS !!!!
Kaylee: “Anthurium clarinervium is not that expensive”
Me, an Australian: *best price for a seedling I’ve found was $200, established plants range from $600-$800 and beyond* 😭😭😭
I bought mine for $950 and that was a bargain for the size lol. I cry a little when she says it's easy to find and not that expensive 🙃
Whaaaaat? 😨 I bought my big one (30 cm leaves) for 14,99€ at my local garden center 😐
Laura Reim that physically hurt me to read 😭 only solidified my goal of moving to the EU
I just got mine a couple of weeks ago for $1400 AUD 🤭
Ikr here in nz it’s worse 😭
I'm obsessed with the thumbnail! I mean, yeah beautiful plant but U glowing, sis 😍
Top 10 Alocasias? 👀
We all know Florida Ghost is going to be in the top 10 philodendron video, right? xD
That might be all ten 😂
Together with an El Choco Red 😅
I've just started getting into anthurium and let me tell you, my bank account is NOT ready
Seeds are the cheaper options but it takes so long for it to become a plant 😭 the only good thing is that you’ll get multiple plants eventually
😀😀😀❤
Always interesting to hear how common or cheap some aroids are overseas. in NZ a full grown anthurium is about $600-1000 easily for a small 2 leaf cutting lol
Now I know how to say waroqueanum....and now I know I definitely need more Anthuriums in my life
Loving your backdrop it looks awesome. Hoping you make it your permanent backdrop for now. Knowing you probably find another in the future. ❤️💕😍
Love the light in this ! Very flattering and makes you look glowy
Yay! Thanks for the top 10 video, it's always fun to see you talking about plants you love!
Okay I did not expect to love all of them
Yes please to other Top 10 videos, starting with Philodendrons and Monstera! Lovely video Kaylee :)

I'd watch your top ten of basically anything 😂 would love any plants but philodendron sounds great! I just purchased my first yesterday!
Which one did you get? (I know the comment is 2 months old but I'm curious lol)
Philodendron. Golden dragon is the absolute freaking fave
Here we go....me adding more stuff to my wish list. ❤️
Here after my wendlingeri convo with you today. Haha, still cannot wait till you get your hands on some of those spirally-inflo producing pendant goddesses! I'm number one on the waiting list!

Yup, I'm down with any plant education you want to share. You go girl! Put me on!
A video on your setup in the shop or how you culture plants in lecha / clayballs would be great! Your experiences and what you use for this, ect
Definitely agree, the monsteras are the perfect backdrop! 😍
Philodendron video please! :]
Just purchased an Anthurium Black Beauty!!!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🤩
Yes a philodendron, monstera and alocasia top ten would be lovely! I don’t have experience with anthurium yet but I also like bird nest ones, especially when variegated 💙💕
Beautiful products plants

My very favorite Philodendron is bipennifolium.
Next may be the hybrid "Bob See" because of its nearly geometric leaf structure. So many parallels and sharp angles!
Your choice are same with me, especially regale and crystallinum, really love them 🥰
Your large plant looks so cool in the background. I don’t have any anthurium yet. Love your videos.
if I made the list I would have had at least one birds nest anthurium. I know those aren't kaylee's jam but they are tough as nails and can handle down to 30% humidity! They also get massive and they give me fern vibes.
Anthurium are beautiful and expensive In the USA. I only got 3 so far: Pallidiflorum, Queen, and Clarinerum. So far I love them 🥰🥰🥰
What about Syngonium's or Epipremnum's?
I would watch your top 10 of all plant variety’s and would love to see a top 10 plants of all time!
I just bought a Regale today so I had to watch this video again 💚😊
Hello kaylee can you do a video pointing out the major differences on the different anthuriums- clarinervium, magnifícum, firgetii , crystallinum etc. As well as the other long leaves anthurium. That way, it would be easy to tell one from the other.
Awesome. .love these varieties!!
Wish to put them on my wish list.
Queen Anthurium .. ..superrrr!!
Love the Long belt like anthurium
I find myself avoiding anthurium for all of the reasons you mentioned. They are quite beautiful and interesting plants, however. Thanks for sharing.
My waroc green form is a total diva lol I will have to look into getting a dark form :)
Girl those are my top 10 too 🥺💕😍
I love that monstera in the background! I would like to see you top 10 monstera and philodendron list. I don’t really have 10 fave anthurium but my fave and only one I have is the vetchii

My favorite is my Hookerii. I almost lost it to root rot though. Its outside for the summer getting LOTS of light!
When’s the next restock? ♥️
Love your videos! Your videos were my first exposure to Anthurium and I just bought my first one being an Anthurium clarinervium and I am so excited :)

Kaylee you've got my she shed

Does not have to be top 10. Top 50? 🤭
Yesss Veitchii 🥺💙 My absolute favorite plant, I've had great luck without a terrarium but they are picky on water
Your hair color is gorgeousness!!!
I would love a video on how you clean your plants leaves, if it’s necessary, etc
i don't have enough anthurium to have a top 10 i think, but my favourites are definitely the pendulous and long-leafed ones!! my only anthurium is a vittarifolium and i had to hunt like mad to find that bad boy in the uk!! i love it so much though 💖
❤️💯yes,please.
Im always lov watching all ur videos kaylee😍😍😍 newbie from Indonesia
Nice!
I just ordered a vittarifolium last night after seeing the video you made about the top ten easiest rare houseplants. Very happy it’s less than $100 😂
Omg, of all the times I wished you shipped to the USA, this is that time. I've been trying to get that warocqueanum hybrid FOR EVER!!!...and you have 6 in shop? SIX??? They are just impossible to find here in the states. As far as my top 10 favs, they are ( in no particular order)...

Please do a BiOrb air review! I’m waiting for your review before I buy one
Haha just give in already 🤣🤣
Didn't she previously say that she had 2 and both malfunctioned in the same way? Plus the light in it burned some of her plants' leaves.
Hello Kelly, I have tried going to your website but cannot shop. Do you not ship to the US?
I'm loving your videos. I appreciate your insights and how thorough you are. I want to throw a really cool rare anthurium variety out there you should look into. Anthurium podophyllum. It creates spectacular split lobed leaves that can be very large. The lobe splits become more pronounced as the young plant matures.
Clarinervum is sooo e pensive in Australia and so hard to find also.
I really love this girl
I miss the macrolobium in this list xx
Finally i hv one anthirium on my house😍😍😍
Love your videos! Maybe a top 10 trailing/vineing plants?
On your merch list... will you be making any tote bags?
