Once my friend was getting bullied and people were spreading rumors about her liking someone which isn't true. I told everybody to stop because she was really hurt and everyone stopped. (My name is Esther and I am your biggest fan) Love ya
I stood up many times for my best friend when she was bullied. She couldn’t take it herself so I stood up for her and she was so grateful that I helped her.Piper, thanks for existing in this world you change it to better everyday, just some people don’t appreciate it.
I like how the sticky note at the beginning of the class said “be yourself” and the teacher has a problem with piper being herself unless it’s in “support of the school” schools in a nutshell 😂
So unfair! My teen daughter has been "dress coded" many times at her middle school unfairly for clothing that I felt was completely appropriate. One of the biggest problems with the dress code is that it seems to only apply to certain students, and always only females. Time for rules to change! It's not the 1800's!
In times like these, the boys are the ones who should be reprimanded. They need to learn how to control themselves in order to grow up to be a real gentleman.
Indeed this kind of thing is sexist to both genders as when schools try to defend this kind of thing, they're making blatantly sexist stereotype that guys are all presumed to be potential perverts.
This video hit so hard. If a man can go out in public TOPLESS and not get shamed, why are us females being shamed for wearing short skirts, shorts, shirts. Or we are “losing ourselves” if we wear something baggy. You can’t blame the victim for a bunch of harassers coming at them. They need to control themselves and if they can’t then that’s disgusting. Females have every right to go out however they want expecting not to be dress-coded or harassed. #mybodyshouldntconcernyou
If your body should not concern us, keep it covered up. Most men do not have breasts. Their areolas are smaller compared to most women. I think this country would be a much better place if women like you were sent to Afghanistan to be taken down a peg, while their women are brought here, where they can appreciate modesty without suppression.
So basically people should be able to wear whatever they want wherever they want and there shouldn't even be dress codes for a job. But isn't school supposed to prepare students for the work environment? How are they going to tolerate any type of dress codes at a job in the future?
Because the reality is men get excited and many don’t respect you. So you will get unwanted attention, which is also a complaint by woman. It’s the reality of the world being unfair. Woman’s bodies drive men nuts.

@@The_First_something_weird the video it’s self definitely not but how people treat dress codes and the children wearing the clothes def does in my opinion/experience cause getting dress coded and told I wasn’t allowed to wear things cause they basically s3xualize our bodies at a young age cause “it’ll distract the boys” it’s always “oh your too tall so you can’t wear a dress/skirt/shorts -that completely cover you- simply cause it’s *distracting*” or “oh you’re more filled out than the other kids so even though your strap on your tank is 4 inches wide and the requirement is no less than 2 inches wide you still can’t wear that cause it’s distracting to the boys” I hated it and it made me so uncomfortable in my own skin especially cause other kids would pick on me rather than stand up for me. I had to find my own voice and fight it any time they did try something. Inches on the strap “okay lemme grab my ruler right quick” “too short? Last I checked it had to go past my finger tips which it does or do I need to ask admin for the student handbook”😫 it’s ridiculous how teachers and principals pick and choose who to get on to simply cause we are tall or a little more curvy than most others in our age group
thank you piper for making this video to truly show how unfair it is for the girls to get dress coded even if some one is wearing the same thing, the other girl would get dress coded just because she has a different body type. we are all built different for a reason and just because somebody doesn’t have the same body doesn’t mean that you should dress code them. coming from a fellow 13 yr old

Thank you Piper, Emily, Jenna and Ellie for addressing that. It makes me feel more comfortable in my body. And shows how all girls can make the choice on what they wear on a daily bases. 👍
The main issue I think is who enforces the dress code. In high school this girl was basically humiliated when the teacher told her that the shirt she was wearing was too short even though it covered her stomach. She then proceeded to talk about how important the dress code was and of course we all knew that no one was dress coded.
The girl is being catcalled left and right but HER clothing is the problem? The teacher is very insensitive and unfair. It's easier for her to call out Piper than to discuss respectfullness with the whole class.
The dress code is always so strict on girls, like why are we getting in trouble for the fact that some other people are distracted. The other day I got in trouble for wearing leggings, with a top that didn't pass my @$$. Then I saw like 6 other people get dress coded for tang tops, shorts, belly buttons, bra straps showing, TOO ripped jeans, and dumb stuff like that, they were all girls, and the other day my strap was showing, and my teacher was like pull up your shirt and I did then I got cold and put on a jacket and she was like Much better. Then today they come on morning announcements and are like we have seen so many girls with "short shorts" and showing "midriff" or "shoulders", then they literally said, "we shouldn't be seeing anymore FLESH" Like what!?! It's just not fair and at this point it's become a joke amongst most of the girls like "omg, Abby your ankles are showing that's like so distracting you're going to get in soooo much trouble". IM done with the dress code and kind of want to purposefully go against it. if anyone knows they go to the same school or even the same county i think we need to do something about cause im over it, if you have ideas pls tell me, this is a real issue. the dress code is so old and $exi$t.
Uhh I feel you I see girls with top tops I was wearing lulu lemon biker shorts and a top that didn’t show my belly only when I lifted my arms and this guy dress coded me but he didn’t fit the other girls!!!!😮😮😮😢😢😢😢
bro our dress code is actually reasonable cause we cannot wear anything revealing that shows our stomachs, private parts, etc but we can’t wear sandals or flip flops or anything that shows our feet because they don’t want anyone stepping on our feet plus we cannot wear those for PE but one thing that is stupid, they have to be able to see our ears so we aren’t allowed to have our hoods up in the halls but I do it anyway and never get caught or at least the teachers don’t care if I wear hoods except my engineering teacher hates when we wear hoods
I love how this video directs attention to girls and young woman being criticized on the things they wear. If someone doesnt like or cant stop looking at you in a certain shirt, pair of pants, or even a whole outfit then they should deal with themselves first. Why should girls have to limit themselves when boys cant keep it in their pants.
But traditionally women have very wide choices in what they can wear. They embrace it too. Fashion for women is like an epic hobby. A very expensive hobby.
Many men in the world do not objectify women so your comment would be divided Men in the world who don’t know what a woman is because they objectify should seek therapy

This video should be shown more all around the world because this is the right thing to do. Us girls should be able to do or wear whatever we want and not anybody to tell us what to wear at all.
Piper thank you so much for this video. I am homeschooled but I deal with my parents dress code. I’m almost 15 and my parents need to exam my outfit to make sure it’s “modest” enough. I am so tired of people saying “ your going to distract the boys” or as my father says “ you don’t know how a boys mind works. We should all be allowed to wear what we want and it shouldn’t matter what other people think. I totally agree that you should wear what makes you feel confident and pretty. Not for anyone else but for yourself. I’ve watched this video about 5 times because it really makes a very point and helps me. Thank you so much Piper. Keep up the good work!
I’m so happy you guys addressed this as a girl I find it hard to look for outfits that won’t “distract” boys in my school and I actually got told off for wearing a crop top that wasn’t even too short so thank you guys for talking about this love y’all ❤️❤️❤️
yea , this got inspired from Dhar Mann because these type of videos, are like dhar Mann’s vids but I’m not trying to hate on her and like saying she is copying Dhar Mann
My school has a really strict dress code, so this video is relatable for me. So many girls at my school get dress coded for wearing shirts with sleeves that are too short and for wearing shorts that aren't longer than their arms, i'm happy you are making a video on this❤️Merry Christmas
@@PiperRockelle ikr all the girls get blamed for distraction but the boys are talking about it like leave us alone and I don't think that it is fair for teachers to say were distracting the class when the boys are the ones distracting everyone so.... just a thought!
This is a masterpiece of work 🎉🎉🎉 Girl shouldn’t be treated because of their dedication to wear the clothes that they’re comfortable wearing Maybe the teacher should go to the principal’s office instead of piper😢😢
This is amazing. Honestly, it's not a girls fault if what we wear is distracting other students in the class, mostly boys. It's a not our fault that they aren't mature enough to not hit on us when we wear clothes that are tight and comfortable for us.❤
This is an amazing example of what girls have to go through almost every day. Thank you so much piper for doing this, your acting skills are amazing and thank you for raising awareness ❤️
This is totally true, I’m a girl and some got dress coded for the same reason in my school not saying who for privacy reasons, but it’s totally ridiculous and girls should really be treated better and it can be really humiliating for us thanks for making the vid piper! I rly like these videos:)
In middle school, my bestie was getting bullied by someone so I did my best to help her and stand up for her. Everyone should stand up for kids who are getting bullied or how they dress and what they look like, when you help one you helped everyone. Love these videos piper keep it up 👍❤️❤️🦋🦋
I would always stood up if something wrong happens . Especially when someone creates a disparity between girls and boys dress codes . Standing for someone who is right is a right think to do . I have always stood up for my friends whenever something wrong happens or some kind of disparity is there . We also have dress code in our school but it is same for both boys and girls and i am thankful for that . Anywyz love you pipes hope you have a awesome day 💖❤
Man, I really hope these irrelevant school dress codes get changed. Everyone should be able to wear what they want without feeling worried that they will get called out by school staff. We go to school to learn, not to get judged because of what we wear.
Women wear revealing clothing and then expect not to be checked out? It is literally in men’s nature, they can’t do anything to control it. BUT women can help men by covering themselves so that the men have nothing to look at. And I know women only wear these clothes because society forces them to. And they call it freedom. Laughable.
@@freddienguyenn oh really!!! So why don't you do one thing...plzz go to your school without wearing any not even your bra and panty. OK.... and i think it being naked suits you more....all the best for tomorrow

I would have said “ yes I would love to be suspended only to get away from you for not accepting me as a person cause I show myself in what I wear so thanks so much “ then walk out of class 😂😂😂😂
My friend is always feeling insecure, this isn’t a time I stood up for someone but it’s important to know everyone is important and uniquely beautiful in your own way! No matter what anyone says! Thanks for the great message, Piper! ✨
this is such a good message. my school has a uniform so no one has to worry about this but girls shouldn’t be dress coded and sexualised because of their figure. no matter your body type- tall or short, curvy or not your perfect💕
I never understand what is that person thinking when he invented dress code, it is just ridiculous. I should have a choice to where what I want to wear. We should fight to get dress code removed!!!
No, the dress code is fine. Coming from a school who has uniforms, yall Americans have it easy and should appreciate your life. Most of yall take advantage of the dress code and wear on shortest pants and high crop tops
This is so good! I don’t get how people always say, “Just be you! It is better!” and then shame you for what you wear. Your style and what you wear is part of who you are.
I just love how the sticky note before class started said “never give up and be yourself “ and the teacher has a problem with piper being herself and wearing what she’s comfortable in . Like teachers let students wear what they want
When I was in the third grade and someone was getting bullied so I stood up for her and I got a black eye afterwards. Another hit from piper keep doing you I love it.
this is so true, i wore leggings once to school a few months ago and i got dress coded while a week later a girl half my size wore leggings that were also tight and she didn’t get dress coded.
Teachers be like: your distracting the boys with your outfit, it’s too revealing. Ok then, how about we teach the boys not to get distracted when they see us. Us girls wanna wear what we wanna wear, you never dress code the boys, but if girls even have the tiniest rip in there jeans, they get in trouble for it? Like teachers need to actually realize what they are saying, and not yell at us for wearing what we want. It’s a free country for god sake.
piper is actually really good at acting especially when this is showing how reality works but people just look as t the big picture and since she's "annoying" everything she does sucks.
This video is awesome!!! It hits really close to home!!! I HATE school dress codes, they make no sense!!! I cringe every time I hear them. And the other boys in the video remind me of some kids I sit next to during lunch. There was this girl at my school who was wearing a pretty shirt. But it might have been a little revealing but not too bad. But these kids at my table started roasting jokes about her behind her back. Idk what to do. If I tell a teacher. Not only are they going to get in trouble but the girl might as well for what she was wearing. I mean like it's freaking High School!!! What did you think teenagers are going to wear!? Also, I got dress-coded back in middle school one time for wearing jeans with the whole design. They had to call my dad to get me new clothes and while I was changing. I heard he had a talk with my principal about the situation.
This is so inspirational, especially cause at school we have uniforms. And we can't wear tight jeans or leggings. Leggings aren't even allowed on dress-down days. That rule is only for 6th grade through 8th grade, which is not fair
That’s so unfair. You guys shouldn’t let anyone treat you that way just bc of that. You should feel comfortable in whatever you are wearing. No one should let people treat women that way. Their perfect just the way they are and don’t let anyone prevent you from being happy. And just bc you are showing a little skin, doesn’t mean you should get dress coded for that. You should just be yourself and don’t let ANYONE keep you from loving what you love♥️🙌🏽🚫🥰

The main issue I think is who enforces the dress code. In high school this girl was basically humiliated when the teacher told her that the shirt she was wearing was too short even though it covered her stomach. She then proceeded to talk about how important the dress code was and of course we all knew that no one was dress coded.
Nobody cares. Piper rockelle and all of these dumb youtubers are rubbish.
I don’t really like piper but this is awesome for someone at young age to be teaching others to not be ashamed of what they wear but proud
Yeah
I glad that this comment is not a hater
Lol
The girl is being catcalled left and right but HER clothing is the problem? The teacher is very insensitive and unfair. It's easier for her to call out Piper than to discuss respectfullness with the whole class.
Right!!
Yea but many teachers suck this is realistic
It's unfair because the teacher encourages misogyny.
I would've said, "You wish"
When people were being mean to my friends and stood up for me, and I stood up for them, so we were being nice to each other 0:36
The dress code is always so strict on girls, like why are we getting in trouble for the fact that some other people are distracted.

Plus when they dress code me especially boy teachers I feel so scared
Nah this is so true
bro our dress code is actually reasonable cause we cannot wear anything revealing that shows our stomachs, private parts, etc but we can’t wear sandals or flip flops or anything that shows our feet because they don’t want anyone stepping on our feet plus we cannot wear those for PE but one thing that is stupid, they have to be able to see our ears so we aren’t allowed to have our hoods up in the halls but I do it anyway and never get caught or at least the teachers don’t care if I wear hoods except my engineering teacher hates when we wear hoods

It's better to deal with the world as it is,
rather than how you think it should be.
But traditionally women have very wide choices in what they can wear. They embrace it too. Fashion for women is like an epic hobby. A very expensive hobby.

Piper thank you so much for this video. I am homeschooled but I deal with my parents dress code. I’m almost 15 and my parents need to exam my outfit to make sure it’s “modest” enough. Hi
Me too
Man, I really hope these irrelevant school dress codes get changed. Everyone should be able to wear what they want without feeling worried that they will get called out by school staff. We go to school to learn, not to get judged because of what we wear.
So I bought some clothes only for me to realize that I couldn’t wear almost anything I bought to school.
These dress codes give me a headache
I want to wear bikini to go to school ❤️
Nah sorry. Left to their own devices teen girls would show up wearing cellophane.
