it really looks like they were gonna add a bullet farm/citadel DLC. really a shame they didnt :/
apparently the devs did complete a dlc, the publisher just never greenlit it for release due to poor sales for the base game.
They theoretically COULD have kept going with the game, adding additional content with the direction of George Miller. My understanding was that George Miller helped with the writing of the story in the very beginning of development and then put more of his resources towards Fury Road which’s stage was in development hell.
I think the lack of direction from George Miller eventually lead to the game drying out. People say that this game is canon which I believe was the immediate goal, but to me losing George Miller’s full support and leaving it to Warner Bros. forfeited that title.
I absolutely love the game, even more the story, I just think a lot of potential was squandered and that this game deserved a revisit while it was still hot and up in the air.
Miller wasn't involved in this game at all. He had planned on making a game, but never got it off the ground. So Avalanche/Warner made their OWN game and used all of Miller's unused ideas from *SCRIPTS* for future "Mad Max" MOVIES - not game ideas. Basically, they had the rights to all of Miller's ideas and because Miller was either never happy with previous game efforts and/or busy, they went ahead and made the game without him, with zero input from him at all. They had the rights to all of his ideas for future films and just took them all and put them into their own game, without his permission because they owned the rights. It's why a lot of George Miller fans have a bad opinion of this game - not because it's bad - but because they did it without Miller's involvement. It's why the game feels more like a ton of different ideas just kind of thrown everywhere instead of having a coherent story line.
@@redadamearth Cool. Thanks for clarifying, I know my knowledge was fudged from the get go
I bet it’s cut content :( Maybe dlc that never got made
Welcome back to your channel.
Hello, someone has ever tried to go with mod in the big nothing as far he could drive ?
I used a trainer a long time back after finishing the game to just drive around. There are youtube channels who go everywhere. At some point the land just drops straight down into a flat and that is just it. It is a huge square where the world is build on.
The only part I someday want to see is where you have to go to people who go into the storm and the great nothing to see where they stop or if they keep on driving. Normally you cannot follow them. Besides your vehicle is too slow.
I don't remember if the part shown here is the part where the menu before you start the game is. Otherwise it is somewhere else. But it is absolutelly past the storm.
There is also some part with test areas. All are shown on a couple of youtube channels. I really love those things.

@@Glitchtroll yes a friend of mine recommended we of a few weeks back for a different game and I shouted "Wait I have to see if it has mad max!" and thank God it did 😁
@@CourierSiix It isnt, it has lots of games on it and you can get invincibility, infinite fuel, ammo, no reload, one hit kill, infinite fury, alot of things.
According to the geography in the film, a road heading North from Gastown would eventually lead you to the Citadel.
