Seeing a high rise in musical based games. It’s beautiful
His face and voice fit perfectly. He's not good enough to be a main baddy but he's WAY too good to be a recurring thorn in our side to only be a normal boss.
Love the main character's expressions, glad somebody enjoys the small details that complete a game.
Feel like he'd be similar to moustache kid in a Hat in Time. Either that or a mid boss like he helps our character for several levels then gets 'sick of us'.

So this game is basically "a hat in time" mixed with "no straight roads" with a bit of "just shapes and beats"? I like all three of those things, so I'm already hooked.
Basically, yes. But people who create original stuff oftentimes don’t like it if others compare it to more popular or just other games/characters etc. because you don’t think of it as its own thing.

I like 2 of those things. The one I don’t like is no straight roads and if we are mixing it with a bit of just shapes and beats, then this can either be easy or very hard to beat. They might even include a mode that is like death-wish

I still just love how the background starts to build itself to the music from 1:09 on, not just the timed attacks.
Now I'm looking forward to the other sets, since this boss fight is supposed to be a "build your own battle" fight, and how they get built. :D

When visiting the BBU Kickstarter Page and looking up this chapter, 'Lord of the Strings', it reads something like "A grand finale with a grand fight [...] where the players choices impact stage props, costumes and scripts."

Okay, to be fair, this could just be the only form of the boss fight, while everything on the Kickstarter page just refers to the rest of the chapter. But it reads "A musical boss fight and finale, [...]", and you have to pick those props and scripts for _something_.
Could just be the stuff before Fanto's fight, I wouldn't be supprised, just a little disappointed, because a player-built boss fight sounds like massive fun, immersion and replayability.

The old voice was a temporary voice before the song was finished, and the new voice is the final voice actor

The original was a demo singer! Who will be playing Barnaby and singing his song. I understand but I feel it would be very unfair to Michael to compete with his demo singer. We give money to the singer for views and this song was always intended for Michael ^^’

OH i so much prefered the first kickstarter singing which was more natural, also shame the og kickstarter trailer gone, i wanted to listen to that track today but overall the new track sound great and fits well with the character

@@Tymekew still the way you wrote that comment might be taken the wrong way. Lots of voice actors and regular actors get depressed at times when they think they aren't giving their absolute best.

I really hope when the game is done that it comes out on switch. It’s a really good console for platformers, and if the music and demo are anything to go by, this game has a TON of potential. I can’t wait to see how it develops!

I saw this trailer a while ago. So far I’ve seen a couple boss fights, but it all looks absolutely worth playing!
The art style and gameplay kinda reminds me of A Hat in Time, which I loved every bit of, so that nostalgia might bring me a whole lot closer to this game as well! Keep up the good work!

When I first saw this, I was convinced that it was a Hat in Time rip-off, what with the similar art styles and gameplay. However, I can definitely see it has its own uniquely odd charm to it, and the songs I've heard for this game are pretty fun and catchy. And in any case, it's not like Hat in Time invented 3-D platformer/bullet hell fusion games, and it seems to have a very different story from Hat in Time.
