- Today I go back to the old bottle dump I found this summer and dig out another section. I find some really great vintage milk bottles and medicine bottles. I dug around for a few hours until I had as many old bottles as I could carry out and then called it a day. This is a pretty long video with a lot of digging and many good bottle finds.

Back to the old bottle dump. I found a really cool milk bottle on this dig. I hope you enjoy the video!
I love bottle digging
i like the bottle videos...
I also have a fig bottle with a fully intact label. Those were the days of digging with my father in the old dumps in Babylon, NY at Southards Pond.
I love this! Awesome find on that Fox Deceived!
Those little glass tubes I do believe are cigar tubes
Another great video, Mr Chigg! I'm 78 years of age and have roamed the mountains, deserts and plains and dug quite a few old dumps in my time. I'm sorta like some of the bottles you dig, I'm broken and not good for much nowadays, but your videos keep me from getting to crusty or growing too much moss from staying put in one spot for so long! Keep 'em coming, friend!
Youre the best!
Am I the only one that’s loving the sound of the falling debris! ❤ pls do an asmr digging video!! Love your content!
Congratulations on your collectible milk bottle! The broken light was a 20's to 1940 radio tube with the pins on the bottom. The stainless " hubcaps were " Thermos " tops. All metal with a glass bottle inside. Fragile ... easy to break ( pop had those for hot coffee) . Late forties....
Gill: An antiquated liquid measurement. In the U.S., a gill is equal to one-half cup or four fluid ounces, while in England a gill (known as an imperial gill) is equal to five fluid ounces.
Chigg, You being Happy makes us Happy. Thanks for sharing your stories with us.
As an Australian. I'm very jealous of how much history america has
I feel the same way about the folks mudlarking on the Thames!
I wouldn’t care if you dug there the rest of the year I’d watch every minute old bottles just have that mystery about them thanks for sharing all these finds see you on the next one👍🏼👊🏼
HI CHIG, JMK FROM THE UK HERE, THAT MILK BOTTLE THAT YOU WERE REALLY HAPPY ABOUT, AND YOU SAID SOMETHING ABOUT THE EMBOSSING SAYING GILL/ JILL, THAT'S ACTUALLY A MEASURE OF A QUARTER OF A PINT.👍👌👌👌
Enjoyed your finding the Fox Deceived bottle as I had recently read an article about the overnight destruction on the Washington County Historical website. Seems it was all about the green, and not the green we should be concerned about.
O yes, "Barrel Full of Monkeys", that's a blast from the wayback machine, Ha haaa. Glad you found that Fox Milk bottle, it waited all those years just for you, bud.👍
Would love to see your full bottle collection at some point, if you haven't shown it already
Just read about the origins of Fox Deceived... pretty cool story. Glad you have a piece of your local history.
You've gotta collaborate with adventure archeology. The chig and Brandon on some bottle and metal hunts would be historical.
That was a nice barrel mustard jar, Chigg. Congrats on the cool local dairy bottle!❤
Some of those barrel mustards were made of flint glass and had open pontils on the bottom. Not these though.
I remember sour kraut in those barrel jars
I can remember peanut butter and jelly being in those barrel jars. But I think some companies ordered maybe a million jars and when they went bankrupt the jar company’s sold off the remaining jars at a good price hence so many people remembering so many different things being in those type jars. The peanut butter n Jelly I remember being in those jars had zoo animals on the labels too. I don’t remember the brand.
I’m loving these bottle dump videos!👍🏻
Excellent finds. I love finding old bottle dumps
IT'S CALLED MEMORIES SUCH A GOOD THING FOR US OLDER ONE'S , I THINK THAT IT'S CALLED HISTORY 😮.😊
Thank You for the Cool Adventure Chigmeister!
Those tiny, skinny little glass tube bottles are pill bottles. 1800's-ish date wise.
The items you keep pulling out that you say look like light bulbs but have 4 or more pins on the bottom are actually vacuum tubes. They're the predecessor to modern diodes and transistors.
Your my hero. Live history outdoors.
I love watching the bottle dump videos!
Boy would I love to spend time digging along side you in a place like that. Course I’d be taking too much time looking for the little stuff. I’d bring a sifter to help. Love treasures you find
Great video! I love how you get distracted by more bottles every time you are about to put us away xD
Here in Lancaster County Pa. So many old stone, brick, log and post and beam houses have gone. And often by a greedy developer! Kind Thanks Aquachigger! Good Finds and Great Adventures! DaveyJO in Pennsylvania
Place the bottles you don't want upside down so water doesn't collect and freeze inside. headlight housing maybe? The jar was probably pickles like an old barrel of pickles.
Are the hubcap things the cup/tops off an old Thermos?
This bottle digging is a lot of fun. Especially since you are doing the digging. 😬
I remember the Rootbeer extract bottle and of course the milk bottles 😃
It was like the suckers kept multiplying....crazy amount of bottles 😂
Fun show
Awesome! I look forward to seeing your next one 😊
Thanks for shareing! Never know what you may find in those old places.
They tried to save the Paris Woolen Mills here. It was like Pendleton. Then gone. So sad. Uh-huh.
What a haul! Easy pickings too.
Man, your excitement is infectious. I was so stoked for you when you found that little milk bottle. Congrats, sir.
Sometimes in the old days there would be an old man living in a shack down by the town dump. He would sort out things, collect metals to sell etc. Perhaps you have found where he piled the bottles.
dude. we have one that was from 1850 to 1940. In SC. have pulled some wild stuff out of it. Need to dig about 6 feet along the bank to get to the old stuff. Hit me up if you wanna visit. we really want to get a pressure washer with a pump in the creek
Thanks for sharing another great adventure hunt 👍
Fox Deceived milk bottle! Awesome....one sold for $60 lately. Great find Chigg! Oh- we forgive ya for the S-word slip up! Haha! You're passionate about destroying History, as am I !!
Seems they had a lot of indigestion back then. Most likely from all that ketchup!
made me laugh
You get a bartle, and you get a bartle, and you get a bartle. Bartels for everyone!!!!! Sorry Beau, I just couldn't help myself. LOL!!!! Great little treasure trove you have there!
That old hub cap is a Thermos Lid Cup had Vacuum Glass bottle Inside to keep beverages Hot or cold broke way to easy !!!; )
Good thing about dump digging is one need not worry about holding their breath..unless of course they hit a stink pocket
Great show Chiggster! Really enjoy taggin along with you my friend ! You pal Kevin in France and Florida
I find it so cool that you have the same trench tool i found at an antique mall lol. Its a good tool!, love the bottle dumps, i live in an area that go's back to the early 1800s, and i marvel at all the stuff people through away or dozed away that are so sought after now.
I dug a local dump that had hundreds and hundreds of the cobalt blue Milk of Magnesia bottles and California Fig Syrup bottles. Many were broken. I sold all of them in a boxed lot for $20 back in the 1970s. The best keepers are the cream and milk bottles, local sodas and embossed cork-top bottles. The cobalt Milk of Magnesia bottles are great window bottles when cleaned up. The only ones worth much are the milk and cream bottles with embossing on them from local dairies. The barrel bottles were mustard jars. There seemed to be loads of ketchup, pickle, olive, relish and caper bottles too. Perhaps the farm had a restaurant around the first quarter of the 20th century.
21:29 I think is a thermos bottle top. 38:12 I think were pickles .
That was a bottle dig extraordinaire
I have a spot similar to that where I am. Love going through all the old stuff!
hay Chigg's that Fox deceived milk is a gill . a very rare liquid measurement in milk bottles. Smaller than a pint. very cool.
I love old bottles. Especially corktops. Nice digs Chigg.❤
Great milk bottles, I saw you pick up something you were looking atit was glass with metal pins on one end , If I'm not mistaken that was a vintage Radio Tube from a cabinet set Radio I have one that has the same type tubes in it the ones I've seen date from the 1920's - 1940's. I have a large cabinet Radio that sits on the floor it's 4 feet tall and it is am , and Shortwave it still works great. It belonged to my dad when I was a small kid I'm 64 now. I do think that is what that was ..thanks Chigg.
Your enthusiasm is contagious, Chigg. Finding that milk bottle and the story behind it was so awesome. As a child I can remember going to a dairy with my dad and picking up fresh butter, cottage cheese, cream and milk. Later on that same dairy sold home made bread. They later decided to open a grocery store and closed the dairy which made me sad. Seeing the cows and other animals on the farm made me so happy. Wonderful memories. To this day the store is still open and is run by family. Keep the digging going, my friend. THANK YOU!!
your excitement and enthusiasm in these old bottle digging videos is amazing!
Any time you find an ACL (Applied color label ) do not wipe it off, let it dry, and it will stay on. The small milk bottles are actually cream bottles. The big square bottles are gin bottles.
Awesome find! Good for you! I can definitely tell that means alot to you! 👌
a gill pronounced jill in the us was a 1/4 of a pint in scotland sprits are sold in parts of a gill .
I did not know that about the pronunciation. Thanks
Chiggs you are having a lot of fun, bottle digging is addictive with adrenaline rush. Congrats you the dairy bottle. Please keep going back. Take care👍👏😀
Nice Haul Chigg💃💃💃🤟
the little barrel shape jar may be pickles..i have one or maybe two..came from my mother in laws mother,,its rather old..love seeing you dig jars and bottles..
It was cool to see you find a bottle that you had a personal connection to. You were as excited as a kid on Christmas Day.
i found a 1910 embossed vaseline bottle a couple days ago, thanks for the video and the inspiration to go out tomorrow
Those tiny little vial looking bottles were for pills and they had stoppers in the top.
28:30 gotta love a grimy developer
With that blue milk of magnesium and the California fig syrup, and all the rest it totally looks like a 1940's tip we find here in scotland
Those are some really cool bottles . I'm going in a couple weeks and check out a dump behind a coworkers house. That one with the rooster, never seen anything like that. Cool.
That's one big bottle dump.
Wow, we don't have much in the way of bottle dumps around here. Fun to watch you dig in the dirt like a cat! LOL~ That little short blue bottle looks like Vicks Vaporub ... used to be glass back in the day. Thanks for the fun! - Muddypaw 🐾
It would be hard to leave with all that cool stuff just coming out so easy.
Fox Deceived is a very strange name. I wondered if there was a story behind it. What I saw was the farmer had chickens and foxes kept getting them. So, he sold them and bought some dairy cows. Hence he deceived the fox. 🦊. Take care Mr. Aquachigger.
Looks like old thermos bottle tops CHIG !!
LOL Barrel of Monkey's lol that is what I thought too as soon as you showed it. Good Days
I would love to find a bottle dump like that❤❤
I’m glad you found a “ Fox Deceived” milk bottle and it was interesting to learn of the sad demise of the historic structure. What a great loss. I realize every ‘historic’ house can’t be saved but it would be nice if developers would see the value of including historic structures in new development as opposed to erasing them. Thanks Chig for a fun adventure !
A gill is a unit of measurement that Royal Navy used for Rhum rations.
stuffed quahogs are sooo good
That was a really fun dig to share with you Chiggs ! Great to see the smile on your face after finding that milk bottle. It surely is a wonderful and significant historical relic to survive. I have found some of those metal caps or lids before. I believe they possibly maybe thermos tops or lids. Look forward to seeing your next dig. Take care and best regards from all of us in Northern Ontario, Canada.
Could you do like a collection tour update? Show us them all cleaned up stored?
That's an excellent milk bottle Chigg, Its a disgusting tragedy what happened to Fox-Deceived farm, my dad told me about how the developer pulled all kinds of legal tricks to raze the barn and farm in '91 for a shitty strip mall. That's an excellent piece of history you have now. Thanks for the video Chigg.
The hubcap looking thing reminds me of a thermos top maybe
Thanks Chigg!
All I can say is WOW ❤
Old bottles look nice
a neighbor captain in air force SAR killed in laos 1968 collected everywhere stationed. displayed in huge living room windows. beautiful till hurricane season pack up to protect and replace.
i think the tubes you found are for the old nob and tube wiring........
Fun exploration!
Used post our 4-H project sign next to garbage heap like this. Fun and just kept interesting
The metal cups look like they were from old thermos bottles.
I agree they look like old thermos bottle caps
Looks like a good place to hide some gold doubloons to me.
First thing I think of when I hear of quahogs is Homer Simpson.
I think the barrel bottle contained German deli mustard. Some of the smaller bottles with the wide mouths are probably Horseradish. Great bottle hunt video!
Need to make a video on how you clean these bottles up, like the one you did years ago with the cannon balls and coins
It was exciting to watch as you found one good bottle after another. Thanks for sharing.
Could the hubcap looking things be the tops to a thermos? You know, the part you use as a cup to drink from?
Good afternoon from Southeast South Dakota
'Evening
Love the digs Chigg!
Maybe the threaded caps are for thermoses?
Cool bartles.
Looks like the top to a old thermos
That rooster bottle was quite decorative. I like it. Good on you for finding the historical place milk bottle. That's a cool find.
Time to relax! You mention lack of household. The usual flatware/silverware seems missing as part of that.
