To answer that we'd have to know what type and manufacturer your original trim tab system is. You can call us at 804-368-8428 and we can discuss it with you. Thank you!

Hi there, I have just purchased one of these auto controllers to fit my existing Lenco tabs.
However, I do have 2 questions regarding the calibration process.
    1. Should this calibration be done whilst on the water when the boat is stationary sitting in its natural state, or can it be performed on the trailer?
    2. If on the trailer, does the boat need to be sitting somewhere near the same plane as if it was stationary in the water? Or can it be levelled out.
With a full tank of juice at the twin outboards on the back, my boat sits quite arse heavy in the water, just wondering what is the best way to go about this..
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Calibration can be done on the trailer on in the water, inside or outside. No GPS signal is required for the calibration either. The orientation of the boat is not important for calibration.
