Anything worth doing (outside of work) is difficult. Anything meaningful, that is. I struggled with this for years, as a serial hobbyist. I was a single dad for my now 14 year old so I understand how challenging it is to find time, and once you do get that time, to make sure what you're doing is meaningful. Posting on a consistent schedule is probably the most important thing, and probably experimenting with ways to increase views (thumbnails, keywords, etc). Good luck and as long as it's meaningful to your time, that's all that matters.
@@thecggames yes your right! And I definitely struggle with finding time to do anything for myself between working and taking care of my kids, for me UA-cam is my outlet to just vent and hopefully connect with others in similar situations. I’m going to keep at it and be patient. I appreciate your comment/input Thank you 😊
@@LesandbabesTime management will come and it's all about routine. I'm sure you know that well since you've got kids. I'm subscribed to tons of people that use YT as an outlet, so that's totally a valid reason & point.
@@thecggames of course and I feel like there are so many more UA-camrs making channels to connect more with people and just to have something that’s there’s and of course to make money! If I’m making any sense haha I’m bad at explaining
@Lesandbabes It definitely makes sense! Cash is the ultimate bonus to the hobby/outlet. And no one wants to work for other people anyways, so nothing wrong with hoping it gets to a spot where that's a reality.
2 weeks and giving up already? Lol. Could take 2 months or even 2 years. You need better thumbnails, ones that pop. The algorithm is a crap shoot so you have to keep posting videos till one hits. Reseach the best tags to use even if they have nothing to do with your video. You need exposure. Also have a more interesting background when vlogging. Will send a video of guy who does a good job of this...go to the 15min mark when he walks around the city. Will take time for you to get better at talking to a camera.

And he is a nerd. So if he can make it anyone can. Smiling as much as possible helps.
Thanks so much for this advice I appreciate it! And will definitely work on all that! 👍😊
@ lol……yes I need to smile more, I agree! I’m just still nervous so it makes me insecure 🤦🏻♀️
