He's not regulating the flow. The same amount of water flows before and after building the dam. Those water comes from the rain.

@@paulwilberforce9659 Because suffering is only real when you want it to be? ... That's how an infantile adult thinks so they don't have to acknowledge the suffering they cause. Don't get me wrong, I see no issue with eating meat, catching fish, etc. but it's how you do it that matters. The fish don't need to go through all of that, period. How would you feel if some larger being suddenly pulled you into the water and laughed with glee as you drowned? And it doesn't matter if fish aren't sentient or don't experience things the way we do, cus it's about us and our behaviour, not them.

I love the gleeful people asphyxiating fish for their enjoyment. You don't have to abuse the animal and it costs you nothing to show respect and compassion. 1 long net, dragged from the wall going upstream and you'd have nearly all of the fish with little effort. Bonk them on the heads and you're good. Or torture your food, choke it to death and laugh, it's just food right?
