Awh this was such a lovely thing to do! When I cut my hair short I was going to do the same thing but I wasn't sure if it was too damaged oops. My friend donated her hair though because, like you, she had very long hair and she donated it. She also raised money for charity! I feel all warm and fuzzy after watching this video :)
