Generative Design to optimize Structural Grid from Form

In this video we show a tool to generate the pre-design of the #structural grid automatically and optimized using #generativedesign. With this tool we seek to improve the interaction between the architect and the engineer, through our generative design that seeks to maximize the separation between grids and minimize the weight of the structure.
We also show what was the process to create this generative design using Dynamo, Revit, and Python.
This video is part of our final work on the parametric design module that we are taking in the European Master in Building Information Modeling.
