I've been looking for this one for more than 50 years ever since Joe Franklin showed it on his NYC show. I've made it look even better with software in anticipation of my having a 16mm print made for myself. Thanks for the post Joseph.
Homer's pulling the egg wagon with an American Austin coupe. Same model car as in Laurel and Hardy 'Our Wife' that was made earlier in the year at Hal Roach.

this film was remade as "SPOOK LOUDER' (1943) starring the Three Stooges and also directed by Del Lord
I like"The Three Stooges"remake"Spook Louder"better than this version.

One of the stock company members of the Laurel & Hardy films..Richard Cramer..appears in this film.
I always loved the Mack Sennett dog at the beginning , "in the dog house" : )
The Howard, Fine n Howard version 12 years later is BETTER!
I kinda like the Three Stooges version better more fast paste . The humor in this one was kind of bizarre.
That's "fast paced," not "fast paste," fool! 🤦🤦🤦🤦🤦 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄
'Fast paste'?
More like fast pastry!
Movie Edge..means faster pacing.
they just don't make movies like this anymore!
Wierd but amusing.
