- Thank you so much for your support of the channel! I give you a quick walkthrough tour of my 2-rail O scale layout and a couple of run-bys with an Overland Models WM I2 Decapod.

Nice to see so much Mid Atlantic equipment, especially the B&O.
My layout is all Western Maryland, B&O, and N&W. It's proto-freelanced, but "exists" just outside of Hagerstown, MD, where all three of those roads interchanged.

Thank you so much! The track is a mix of MicroEngineering and Atlas flex. The turnouts are a combination of Atlas, O Scale Turnouts, and Signature Switch Company. All code 148.
You have done well in a short time. My layout is the same size started in 2015. I like O2r but as I am in O3r with 75 loco and 100's of cars......to hard to change!
Yeah you’re in too deep! I did O3r years ago for about a decade, and then did HO for five years. I missed O scale though and was really happy to get back to it.
Congratulations on making it to 1k subscribers. You have an incredible collection and layout sir, I like the western Maryland i2 2-10-0’s, beautiful engine. You’re giving inspiration and ideas to implement on my own layout as well as collecting ideas for rolling stock and engines. Incredible is how I would describe your layout. Again Congratulations on 1k and to more great videos on your layout.

Ryan, congrats on your 1K subs. Great milestone in a short period of time. I also enjoyed the tour of the layout and totally agree with working on various projects around the layout. Sometimes I have step away from one aspect and work on another or I get uninterested and don't do my best work. However, I have to remind myself to get back to something. UA-cam is a good motivator in completing various projects, so that I can show my viewers. Lastly, do you know if those Carolina Craftsman kits are still available?
Thanks Dave! Really appreciate it. Yeah, I like to vary the projects. I'm like you, otherwise I can end up burnt out or just uninterested and not do my best work. I try (it doesn't always happen...and sometimes even months go by) to spend some time working on projects every day. It helps me stay motivated. And UA-cam is a great motivation. I love watching other modelers and seeing everyone's progress, layouts, projects, etc. I think UA-cam has been one of the best things for the hobby. As far as CCK kits go- Jeff isn't running as many as he used to. He was so busy with the kits he wasn't getting to work on his own stuff. I haven't looked at his website recently to see what may be in stock for O. They also pop up on eBay and Trainz from time to time.

New here, been following a lot of O3R, do convert any of the locomotives from O3R into O2R? I want to get back into the hobby but missing out on vision line type products scares me away from O2R.

There are people who do the conversion of locomotives from 3-rail to 2-rail and are extremely good at it. I have two converted Lionel locomotives and a K-Line locomotive that were converted from 3-rail to 2-rail. There's also brass counterparts to many of the Visionline locos that in some cases are even more detailed. But short answer, yes, they can be converted and there are guys who do it and do it very well.
Do you have a video of that N&W K class 4-8-2 running?
No I need to do that. I'll try to get a video of it in the next week.
