That is some great driving. These little things have so much power and are so small it can be difficult to land jumps and backflips and keep going. Good job 👍🏼 Let’s hope for some upgraded cvd and dog bones from Rlaarlo real soon ! 🍻
@RCvapor l personally have had no problems with the factory driveshafts actually wore out a pair but never broke one. Definitely going to get the S2 set when I need to replace them again. Everybody likes what they like to each to us own. But I have the Terminator carbon fiber edition the x12s and the Rogue 1 and to me they are the best Mini bashers out at this time. I beat the hell out of all three of these trucks and they just keep going and going.
@Schmidt3850 yeah the omni is definitely a very good Basher, never had any issues with it,just putting x12s through its paces now seems to be a good little buggy, most rc bashers have a weak point, regardless if they cost £1000 or £100, went through 4 sets of dog bones on rog1, the last batch I bought are holding up well, guess it's luck of the draw 👍
@@RCvapor Yeah really not sure why you are having trouble with those dog bones l can only go by what l have experienced. They were supposed to correct it with a better metal but who knows. The only issue I had with the X12S is l ripped the rear shock tower out of the gear case needs to be through bolted problem solved. I also run thin diff oil in my diff's on my smaller trucks 5000k in the rear 10000k in the front been using that for years always worked well for me. The diffs from the Rlaarlo factory only come wet with oil. That combination seems to prolong the longevity of the diff cups and driveshafts on my smaller trucks. Have a good one.
Yeah always thicken up my diffs 👍 yeah alot of people have had the same issues with the rog1 drivetrains, seems to be resolved with updates, which is good 👍
dam nice vid Ben! too be fair it looks really durable and you were thrashing the hell out of it. i just recently got back into the hobby and i couldnt see my self pushing a car that hard, well not yet atleast
Cheers mate, yeah apart from the dogbones issue, the car holds up well 👍🏻 , I like to properly test, as you say most wont bash it as hard. Great little car
At 10:28 of the video, you can hear the motor reving right when it hit the floor, perhaps that is what caused the axle to break prematurely? Landing on power is bad from my understanding but I'm no expert.
Tbf I have broke 3 axles, and the 3rd time was literally running on flat ground, hopefully rlaarlo will bring some upgraded ones out, as it’s a common issue with this car
It does land nice for small car . Usually they bounce and landings are unpredictable . This one seems to be solid , for a 1/14 and all . Even the Omni terminator for its size , gotta say and I have the 3s, 4s , 6s arrmas and love them . I pulled the Omni T out a few days ago and was impressed all over again . The jumps can’t be as big as the others but on the pavement and short grass it’s awesome handling and acceleration. Everyone knows . Giving rlaarlo their dues cuz it could have been a pos . Oh yeah o forgot to say the 4.3 tall tires on Amazon form gdool RC are awesome on it with the 17mm metal hub gives a little extension for a wider stance . Them tires though are straight up legit to roll on grass where the stocks struggle and just overall is way better imo .
I did try and hammer out the broken pin, and then ypu could find something that fits in there. Like an old wheel hex pin and grind down ? I'm going to order more dogbones(axles) also I'm going to order some different dogbones thst I think may fit, I will update if they work, it's a shame as the car seems well made and great fun
Strange that Rlaarlo did not find this issue while testing the rig. Maybe it is a serial production issue which was not visible during prototyping-testing. However, they should have solved it now. This issue is well known…
Yeah agree, tbh I'm disappointed, as will take a while for parts to ship, and was enjoying the car, definitely needs to be sorted ASAP or at least ship spare axles for free with car.
People complain about the axle breaking or the diff cup breaking... I mean, look how it's being abused with all those crashes and big jumps. I don't understand people who complain but to each their own.. and it's only $150 US!! Lol
Tbf I've seen people break the axles from normal running without jumping, yes I push the car for review purposes, I've had cheaper cars that have taken more abuse, but as I said I really like this car and think it's a great little basher at a very good price, luckilly the axles are cheap, just a shame no uk stockists or on uk amazon, hopefully 2nd run will be good, I have a feeling the self righting is the issue, hopefully we will see.
I broke my steering cup while driving. I gotta give some leeway because I did bash my car pretty badly but when it broke it wasn't anything big, just going slow and hit a rock. Any advice on what I do? I kinda want a replacement car but idk.
@DioOverHeavenEdits they have brought out some s2 upgrades for the car, if you like rlaarlo the omni terminator is fantastic, otherwise similar size cars you can't go wrong with mjx, or consider the arrma groms

Not a bad looking little truck is that Ben
Yeah its pretty cool, just need to sort weak dog bones out 👍🏻
Get the S2 driveshafts for a big 16$ . I bash the hell out of my rogue 1 for months never broke a single driveshaft.
Yeah seen the new s2 drives, definitely a good buy 👌

Great video Ben awesome little buggy pity about the dog bones
Cheers mate, yeah need some spare for sure 👍🏻
How many millimeters are they ?
Your video it is a good job my buddy ciao from rom
Thsnk you buddy 😁

@@Hungrybird474 agree 👍🏻 good tip on tyres, looking at doing something similar on my OT too 😀
Ive just ordered one last week where are you ordering your parts from as they are a bit hard to find
I've ordered from rlaarlo & ali express, the parts from ali came quicker tbh and cheaper, ill leave a link in video description
Is there any way to repair that error if the original parts?

Definitely needs sorting

@@RCvapor alr, thanks for the help!!!
Everyone seems to break this thing, low durability I guess.
Seems to be the same part that breaks, rest of car seems pretty durable, just week axles, not good after first 10 minutes of bashing
