I just heard of these guys yesterday and bought their 25th anniversery mp3. I am not hearing much good metal in the US these days and have been going international. These dudes and Skinflint really keep things fresh while not forgetting old school.

God damn, I love how that bass tone drives the song when the guitar is in a solo. This band is fucking phenomenal. Every member is VERY distinguished at what they do. Perfect band.
Reading how deep the lyrics are and how Waijima-san studied Buddhism at Komazawa University makes sense. The beauty of the heavy and dark in the music, however, there is a bright shining light waiting at the end of the tunnel. What a great band, hope for more performances with the lyrics translated to English for us non-Japanese-speaking fans.

I'm 44 and listening to this song at my brother's house, cup of black coffee in one hand, cigarette on the other, what the f*ck else do I need in this life? I wanna hear it LIVE in Costa Rica. Metal is alive and kicking!
I feel like these lyrics reflect a dark moment. Then everything he has been asking for in the song came true. Everybody around the world wants his dreams to come true. This is probably the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
And it is a great example of not giving up. I am sure that they have a good following in Japan, but perhaps not to the point that they can live off of playing. Add to that the looming shadow of age and mortality and it is inevitable that this song will burst out of the heart.
At their live shows, they create a show with the audience by playing the songs slow or fast and giving them extra timing, depending on the mood of the audience that came on each day.

2020 will be the year the world recognises Ningen Isu as one of the best bands around. I have been a fan of metal since 1971 when I was 12 but have only have been a fan of Ningen Isu for only two weeks when UA-cam suggested them, so now I have a lot of catching up to do.

I absolutely love these guys. One of the true treasures I have found on UA-cam in the last few months. Ningen Isu rocks, and I love the energy and old school sound.
These guys rock. The lyrics capture youthful angst - but these guys are amazing in any language. You can't compare them to anything. They have their own energy.
