What I do when making my own covers: Use the Happy Planner punch on the cover picture itself before laminating ONCE, then use a regular hole punch to punch out the top rounded mushroom part through the plastic. Then laminate it a SECOND time. This makes the cover sturdier. Use the hole punch to punch out the top part of the holes again, then use scissors to trim out the "stem" part. This way you still have the deep holes on the side, but you don't break the HP punch trying to get them. It's a little more work, but it comes out perfectly.
I love the idea of a manifesting course! If anyone has any recommendations, please leave links. I have the career of my dreams. But this year of isolation has shown me that I do not have the IRL community and personal relationships that fill my heart. Again, would love recs!
I use a Levenger punch for my laminate disc-bound covers. I did a video comparing Arc, Happy Planner, and Levenger. Levenger is the same depth as Happy Planner but a little bigger mushroom. I make a lot of my own covers and dashboards for disc-bound planners. Thank you for sharing these new disc-bound planner inserts!
I have never purchased anything from cloth and paper. You have inspired me. I would love to do a manifesting course. I am doing Gabby's Manifestation Challenge for the month of March - I just didn't stick with it in January (so much to do!)
I would looooove to see if you formatted the HB90 planner in half letter! This is exactly how I would set that up. I’m actually setting up my plotting planner in a half letter! But this looks amazing!
Couldn't you do a small half circle punch on your sticky pouch for your sticky notes? That may make it a bit easier to grasp them. Maybe a little circle paper punch?
I have been trying to figure out how to print half letter inserts. I have digital downloads of half letter and letter sized inserts but still cannot, for the life of me, figure out how to print it double sided and correctly. Please help another planner gal if you can! Thank you!
Still makes me smile every time you mention the dragonfly discs and now I feel like a true Hearty 😁😉 Great that there are more colours now too they look fab 💕 This is a beautiful set up and I love a planning/chatty set up video! You can use a Sakura microperm pen on those vellum page flags/sticky notes too. I’ve also tried the EC dual tips and the fine liner end seems to work on the SG version x

Thanks for sharing - beautiful planner! For the envelopes on the tabs holding the stickies, you can use a circle punch on the top of the envelope (punch 1/2 circle) & that should make it easier to grab the stickie :)
I have used my Minc Foil machine on 10 mil for my own personal HP Cover. Just need to a use very sturdy punch like ARC, otherwise may jam on punching like my HP punch did.

Your planner videos are how I met you a couple of years ago :) Maybe..........Once you get the laminating part figured out, you might just want to use a single hole punch on the thick cover and cut your own slits. I think that's really the only way to punch thicker pieces of plastic. Maybe.
Cloth and Paper has a Uni Pin - Oil Based Ink Marking Pen that works on their transparent sticky notes. Levenger paper punch works great on laminated paper with a bit wider “mushroom.” They currently have a sale on both the regular and they have a heavy duty one, that punches up to 15 pages at a time.
Ballpoint pens with oil based ink as well as a regular pencil work on the transparent sticky notes. Of course like you mentioned a sharpie would work. Also the uni pens work and you can buy those at Michael's and hobby lobby.
I appreciate your reviews so much because you go into exquisite detail about quality and dimensions. There are so many unknowns when ordering online, but your reviews answer all my questions!
The Maifesting Course sounds awesome!! I love planners and love organizing but I'm not so keen on all of the plastic so I tend to just stick with the paper items.
on those stick-on holders- I'd cut a little notch out on the open side of the holder so your thumb grabs the card and not the plastic- then you'll be able to pull them out easier. time stamp 21:27

I also had the idea that you could just laminate to 5 mil, punch them separately, then glue them together. I am sure that if you used a glue like E6000, or Beacon, which is a silicone glue, that they would not come apart. Just a thought! I would still love to see you do a video on how to make all of the components of your planners, like printing on vellum and printing on sticker paper, etc. I know you are busy, so if you get to it sometime in the future, that's cool, and if not, that's cool too. I am really looking forward to your next video series that you have spoken about. Very exciting! Good luck with the laminator! We R Memory Keeper's crocodile punch! Mushrooms just as the happy planner ones, but this can go through pretty much any material
C&P has a special pin pen that writes on their page flags and stickers. I have to get one also.

My Happy Planner punch works with laminated pages, but again, I don't think I have the best laminator and with something thicker, it may not work.
