Jack your Tom Holland impression was top tier
I literally came looking for someone who said this

timestamp please?

I still think Jack in the books is better than Jack Edwards. I don't think you can convince me otherwise.
I feel like it's more personal. It feels like hanging out with a friend, instead of just watching a booktuber.
Both channels are excellent. And like my pal Hannah would say: you got the best of both worlds!
@@LeonAvalos 😃
“i love painted ceilings” *looks at bedroom ceiling longingly*
literally laughed out loud when you did that, because i would also stop and think for a second that maybe i could do it if i tried hard enough 💀
Jack: I think this is Amsterdam
Jack: *Sees a bunch of Dutch words*
Jack: That language I do not know
Yes lol. I don't think a lot of people know our language
@@amberdemaeyer3383 I'm actually trying to learn Dutch lol it sounds pretty and I really think Netherlands is beautiful
Jack: "This sign won't help me because I can't read"
The name of that book in frame actually is 'La Superba', which is not a Dutch name LOL. I've read that book and it's about the Italian city Genoa!
@@luluognam I was talking about all of the signs and text inside and outside the shop. I'm a native Dutch speaker, I know.
In my experience if I see German looking words but they look kinda wrong - then that means it's Dutch. Same with Spanish - if the words look/sound a bit off, usually it means it's Portuguese lol
german without capitalized nouns lmao
i speak both german & dutch and im not gonna lie, in my experience dutch is literally just german but you throw in some almost-english words and add an insane amount of random double vowels as well as “ij” for some reason
@@larissarilling1928 as a Dutchie, I agree😂
@@larissarilling1928 as someone who also speaks Dutch and German, I agree
Lmao yess
"Who needs horror movies when you can think about time.. time passing."
- Jack Edwards, 2022
😂😭
jack: sees signs and books literally stating the country *everywhere*
also jack: yk i don't think it's argentina
The ateneo Grand Splendid, used to be a thatre and was turned into a bookshop in the early 2000s. I went two times and it's beautiful. The stage has been turn into a café where you can sit and read books without buying them. It's really amazing
And the higher levels also have books and you can wonder off into the parts that used to be for the very elite to sit and read! I adore that place (and it's close to Corrientes avenue that's packed full of seconhand bookstores!)
hola, podemos ser amigxs? 🙃
Mi lugar en el mundo ❤️ Estaba esperando leer algún comentario asi jajajaj
As a Mexican myself who's a recurrent client in the mexican one, I was literally SCREAMING "Mexico City!!!!" when I saw it, the struglge was real.
SAME HAHHA
Omg !!!! I did the same
Me too!!!! Best bookstore in the world!!📚
Same here, I was like omg Mexico, Mexico, pick Mexicooo
Sameeeee
I’m sad that Geoguessr stopped being such a craze because I’m a huge fan of geography and finding places.
It hasn’t stopped on my end!! I follow youtubers who do geoguesser challenges :]
@@ADaniBear That’s nice. Good for you!
students at my school still play it all the time
@@moth.03 That’s nice.
it’s actually relevant again 😂 the youtuber rainbolt is inhumanly good at it
Jack's impression of Tom Holland is spot on😶
We're gonna need more Tom Holland impressions in the future...that was spot on!
As someone who lives in Portugal, Lello library is honestly gorgeous but now a days because of tourism (due to the fact that the iconic Harry Potter staircase is inspired by the one on this library) 98% of the books are just Harry Potter content.
Ok, but I'm more impressed about the fact that he knows where Braga is, more than anything else.
My geography teacher would be clapping right now 👋👋👋👋
yesss, idk why but i thought it was impressive
Same!!! Não estava nada a espera
i only know it because of the football club-😭
It was showing up on the map...
quando ele disse, "not to braga" I DIED😂
Jack freaking out about the passing of time is such a mood
I literally screamed cause I live in Mexico City and recognised El Péndulo, there's actually like four of them around the city. Lovely bookstore for anyone to visit. :3
Same!!! I was like that’s el Péndulo Jack!!
i'm a born and raised chicagoan and we also played geoguesser. overjoyed that this is a semi-ubiquitous experience
Jack, I love how effortlessly funny you are. It really gives me the boost I need to finish this week. Never thought watching someone else play could be so entertaining lol
Your videos feel like home in times of anxiety and stress. Thank you for making them, Jack!
So the second bookstore is apparently where J.K. Rowling wrote a good amount of some of the Harry Potter books but no one can confirm it. They also say she got the idea for the gowns in Harry Potter from the kids that go to school in Portugal, if you Google it you’ll see
I was just about to say the same thing!😂 i was like that’s Portugal because jk rowling. I think there’s a tour video about the bookstore I just forgot from who.😅
The part about the gowns is true. The part about the bookstore is false (JK confirmed it in a tweet, she has never been to that bookstore actually 😂).
She has lived in Portugal that's true. The place where she "wrote a good amount of some of the Harry Potter books" is "Cafe Majestic" (you can Google it, it's really beautiful!).
@@GiSilva5 dang they lied.🤣
@@ruieito yes, but it's great for their marketing tho 😂
@@GiSilva5 lol yeah it’s pure legend but I wonder who made it up
I’m living for your Jumper, Jack. Your jumpers need an Instagram Account of their own.
I am constantly wondering where he got certain jumpers 😭😭 he has so many cool ones ahaha
Jack Edwards fully goes on a tangent 27/4 but still keeps the conversation around books
“So today I’m officially becoming a gamer.” was the last thing I was expecting to hear from jack in 2022 but I’m SO here for it.
The first one is my fave bookstores in my country, Argentina 🖤 the Ateneo Grand Splendid. You can have a drink in the converted stage with the books you just purchased.
When I saw the title I just knew that el Ateneo Grand Splendid was going to show up. It's a beautiful beautiful place. But nonetheless, as a reader I prefer to buy in independent bookstores and Buenos Aires has so many options to offer. Don't know how accurate this peace of trivia is, but I think that the city is one of the cities with most bookshops per capita in the world.
Some useless information:
I usually go to the grand splendid and then to Corrientes avenue (closer to the obelisk) to buy books because it's so packed full of seconhand bookstores that have the most obscure titles ever
When you’re from Argentina, and it makes your day so much better to see it in booktube. Two of my favorite things in one❤️❤️❤️ Like, THANK YOU!!!
Isn’t the fact that I recognized Shakespeare and Company the second I saw it the best way to describe how much I love this channel? Never been to Paris, but loved your vlogs there
I did a presentation in Spanish last week about Argentina and I mentioned El Ataneo Grand Splendid (because it think it’s magnificent and I gotta include books everywhere) and I FELT that it would be in this video. I recognized it right away and for some reason this just makes me excited lol. I really hope to visit that bookstore one day.
So glad El Ateneo showed up, literally one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world ❤️🇦🇷
I was so excited when "El Péndulo" appeared! That and a book store called "Gandhi" are the equivalents of Waterstones here in México :)
This is a very chaotic way to play geoguessr. 'Ill click far away as it'll be more accurate'
I love your youtube videos so much; as well as how authentic you seem in them. Please keep working your magic!
I can't believe I just watched Jack guess random bookstores in other countries , time well spent 😂
Jack could literally be doing anything and I'll watch lol like what is this? I have no idea but I am ENJOYING it!🌟
Jack’s invincibility while playing Geoguessr in this video is what we need.
Jack getting me hooked on the randomest stuff lmao I still have Cain's Jawbone eating at my brain and now this 🤣
“How many Geoguessr videos have I watched on UA-cam dot com? There is no limit?”
I’ve never related to Jack Edwards this much.
Hey Jack! Have you seen this video? : BOOKSTORES: How to Read More Books in the Golden Age of Content. It's by Max Joseph. In the video he consults a few experts on fast reading because he feels like he should read more, while he travels around Europe and visit's bookstores! I love this documentary and I think you would enjoy it too!
I never find these geoguessr videos very interesting, but this one was right up my alley!
I loved that video as well, I shared it with some of my friends and it motivated them to get into reading again. Plus it shows off a lot of Portuguese bookshops which I love ❤
I literally watched that video this morning!! How weird to see that same library in Porto twice on the same day. ua-cam.com/video/lIW5jBrrsS0/v-deo.html
I was able to guess where the second bookstore was only because of that video 😅
(It's a gorgeous bookstore to say the least, the kind I'd like to wander through and get lost on a timehole)
Omg yes I was gonna comment abt that I loved that video!
I rewatch that video from time to time because it's so so good!
*VIDEO IDEA* : Pick random books from Geoguessr and review them.
I actually have been to Porto and Amsterdam bookstores, it was nice to see and recognise them :)
Lello in Porto is beautiful, I loved it. But you can't move in there, and it is never empty. You even have to buy a ticket to get in. But if you buy a book inside you can use the ticket for the discount. :)
I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina and I was so glad when "El Ateneo" popped in my screen 😍
wow am i ON TIME
just wanted to thank jack for always bringing out such varied and fun content, i cannot wait to dive into this video as well
omg I just love your personality SO MUCH we're basically the same person in two different bodies its CRAZY
You nailed that ✨ Please do a part 2!
love the video. I actually went to that second library in porto about 3 years ago and watching you figure out where it is had me at the edge of my seat.
If you like bookstores in cathedrals, you've absolutely got to visit Dominicanen in Maastricht, in the Netherlands! It's a bookstore located in a 13th century church and it's beautiful
Yeah, I was surprised that particular bookstore in Amsterdam was on that list (it's not that beautiful?), the converted church one in Maastricht is so much more beautiful!
I have seen so many images of the first location so many times on Tumblr, I paused and made my guess because I didn't even have to wait for Jack to look around to know it was Buenos Aires, Argentina.
4:54 ok but that Tom holland impression was spot on
I'm Brazilian, but I've met El Ateneo, in Buenos Aires. It's a really famous bookstore around our region of South America haha so it's funny seeing someone who loves books not knowing this place! It's an amazing bookstore and I surely want to come back someday, not only to El Ateneo, but to the city
That was super fun....would definitely watch a part 2!
6:16 Jack: *Im spinning around* while literally being stationary
(on the website obviously)
JAJJAJ OMG this was AMAZING. I’m from Mexico City 🇲🇽 and I’ve been in that bookstore before, so yes, I was in fact screaming at the video JAJJA. But you were incredible in this game ❤️✨
I love watching Geoguessr videos! cool that you made your own book theme game out of it
You should really look more into livraria lello(the Porto bookstore)! It was the inspiration for Olivander's from Harry Potter!
As someone who always leaves it until it turns red, I'm begging you to update Chrome.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk.
Not me already knowing the first three bookstores without even looking around just because i just love bookstores around the world
Quote of the Day: “Game breakdown. I nearly had several of those.”
not me reading geoguessr like some fancy french word and being so impressed at Jack
Wonderful video!
Actually, it was a big surprise when I saw El Péndulo; I used to live in Mexico City and go to that bookstore every now and then; even after buying a book or maybe two, sometimes I had lunch or breakfast in there: best chilaquiles in town, you can be sure of that. ☺️
I have been to the bookstore in Porto, Portugal, and I can only say that it was absolutely stunning and magical! I can definitely recommend visiting there if you have the chance!
Other than the bookshop in Mexico, I guessed everything right! I've actually been to the one in Portugal and it's just gorgeus
Just when I need serotonin, Jack saves the day and uploads a new video 😭❤
Loved your reaction to El Ateneo, as it's one of Buenos Aires most iconic places imo 🙌🏼
as a brazilian im just thankful that you stoped thinking it was brazil as soon as you read the sign in spanish. unfortunately most people don’t know we speak portuguese here
okay but I've been eyeing all your sweatshirts in your recent videos, they all look SO GOOD 🥺
i laughed so hard when he said that the bookstore could be in brazil, literally everything was written in spanish and not portuguese lmao
Cafebrería El Péndulo 😍 yay! Representing! 🇲🇽 Love your videos, Jack! 👍🏻
Wow This is cool. I wanna visit all the bookstores in the video! Andd also as a Korean, there are many cool bookstores way better than one on the thumbnail :)
“who needs horror movies when you can think about time” is my life in a quote
Jack knowing that Braga, my hometown, exists, is the biggest turn on ever ngl
The fully booked in bgc is beautiful! You should've seen it
I live 5 blocks away from El Ateneo, it completely surprised me to see Jack looking closely at a place where I usually hang out lol
The way I knew where these were so fast scares me... the bookish wanderlust is real
I love that I. the first one the first two books we saw clearly said Bruno’s Aires and Argentina and it still took that long to commit.
11:01 "I dont even like mojitos" I cried laughing
You should have seen my face when the first bookstore you showed was The Grand Splendid in Argentina, I can't explain how many times I spent there looking for books, my favorite bookstore in Argentina.
Fun fact, I met Nicholas Sparks there like five years ago
Aaaaaa!!! El Ateneo. It’s amazing seeing such a special place in South America in your video.
I was really glad when you discarded Brazil after seeing things written in spanish ngl😂😂
The Portuguese bookstore in Porto is the Lello bookstore and it’s really famous and very impressive in real life as well!
The second bookstore is called Livraria Lello in Porto, Portugal and its actually the one J. K. Rolling got inspirations from to write the harry potter books (:
Great great fun Jack! Do wish it was a LIVE as I was screaming at my screen: MEXICO! MEXICO!! MEXICO!!! That bookstore is in Mexico! 🇲🇽
Was a bit of a cheat looking at the maps though. The point being to find the places - ON A MAP. 😂 😂 😂
Fun stuff!
🌹
Love that Tom Holland impression jack
the tom holland impression was amazing omg
YAY the first one is El Ateneo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Love it.
*Me Completely ignoring the buildings and instead zero-ing in on the bikes*: Yeah, definitely Amsterdam. (Also this was so fun to watch!!)
Wow. Jack, your video ideas are so spot on. OBSESSED.
Omg the Tom Holland Impression was amazing!
I do hope that Jack gets to go to one of these incredible bookstores. They look like such fun 👏🏽
*me (portuguese) when Livraria Lello showed up*
Jack: i don't think they're spanish, but they're similar
Me: that would be correct
Jack: these ones are all to Braga which I'm pretty sure it's in Portugal
Me: UNEXPECTED KNOWLEDGE, GO KING
I loved that the first library was, coincidently, in Argentina. It was an unexpected yet lovely surprise for me 'cause I'm Argentinian, but not from Buenos Aires xd.
I like your videos a lot :)
I was in shock when you came to the bookstore in Mexiko City and I just knew I've been there.
I did not remember the name at first but I knew that that was the store/café where I had the most delicious hot chocolate.
Being a flight attendant on my first work trip I was so happy to have found this place.
So funny that it was in the quiz 💃🏼☺
SORRY DIDN'T KNOW THE ACTUAL TOM HOLLAND WAS GOING TO BE MAKING AN APPEARANCE?! HOW WAS THAT IMPRESSION SO GOOD?? YOU CAN'T JUST SPRING STUFF LIKE THIS ON US JACK.
ive been to the one in porto and amsterdam! livrario lello in porto is stunning, but it is also tiny and a massive tourist attraction. queued to get in for over an hour lol
I was just about to have my dinner ready to watch some bootube vids, and then you posted!! Perfect timing for my fav bootuber to post :))
geoguessr and books - my two fave things!!
Gotta say that was just a pretty fun wholesome video to watch
So nice to see Livraria Lello in Porto featured in the video!!
El Ateneo: WE ARE IN BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA
Jack: I'm guessing it's in Argentina???
Img geoguessr is literally my favourite game. What a crossover
