I changed the way I keep my clipped coupons. I talk about how I store them now and what I used to do. I also show what I carry in my couponing tote bag.
Really great method here, Michelle. I’ve done the box and the binder both many times and am still at odds about which to do. I had issues with my one box because it actually was so big that it was really cumbersome to take in. Same goes with the binder. I like how compact this is. Maybe I’ll try the box again if I can find this one.
Yes, I like this method better. It works so much better for me. I could not handle folding all my coupons. Plus, I HAVE to have my coupons with me All of the time!! You are right, I might find something on clearance and I know I have a coupon for it!! Great video!!!
You have shown us your box of coupons. I like having them in the plastic sleeves to make it easy to look at but I think this will work for me now. I just can't imagine not cutting them and carrying them with me.
I am not an experienced couponer but have been learning. I tried the binder with baseball card holders. Was too big and too much to keep up with. So, I got this small recipe card holder at walmart that works great. ( I think it's for index cards) It lets you label each space. I need to get one more. One for food and one for all else as you have will be perfect. And it fits in my pocketbook and so easy to find my coupons now.
Lol. It's funny you say people were looking at you. That is one reason I could not carry my entire collection with me. I love your videos and how you explain everything. I have been a subscriber for a while.
Not only did people look at me they would talk about my coupon binder and me. Lots of times acting like I didn't hear them. Some people are negative but most say stuff like I wish I could do that.

Yes I feel & do the same ♻️ I use them for my math doodles. Or if I only have a certain amount of time- only those coupons are allowed in one of those “to go” envelopes. Because I get so easily distracted. My 3yr old niece has gone with me and wants to hold coupons so hopefully she will start to pay attention and learn. My next sister has 5 sons & hates shopping 🤦🏾♀️🤷🏽♀️ so yeah then the other only shops at Trader Joe’s. The next one is a Costco shopper and my brother he relies on me for most things.
back when I first started couponing, I just used the recycled envelopes. It works too. I just started couponing a lot and needed to organize them more. I think that 3 yr old is learning.
I’ve been trying to come up with a new system and I do really like your way! I think I’d do 2 boxes to have a little more room in them. I will look for the boxes at DT this week. Psst...what scares me is that I’ll pull all of the coupons out of my binder and fix up the box method and decide I prefer the binder. 😂😂
I have been debating on using 2 boxes then I could get my store coupons in it too. Most of them are kind of tall for this box and they could lay down more. The binder is better but it came down to how much time I wanted to spend sorting coupons.
Amy Stotts, this is my problem too 😂 you know personally how I’ve changed methods like numerous times. I really like this smaller box that Michelle got. My other box was actually so big that it was too MUCH room.
I know someone who used a 3 ring binder and the plastic sleeves and she alphabetized all of her coupons. I thought that was way too much work. But I could see where alphabetizing these categories would work. I am just so used to this order that I decided to stick to it.
It does take some work to set it up but if you stay on top of organizing them every week it works great. I have a video on how I cut my inserts. I stack the pages and cut multiple at a time.
Still at it. Down 25 lbs. I am at about a pound a week now. And my man told me the other day he doesn't need bread any more. And he has almost cut out drinking juice.

Do you remember where in Dollar Tree it was? I know my store has a section with random baskets. I think I’m gonna go look for this.
It was with the food storage boxes bags and wraps. This box is good because it is the size of printable coupons. Very few have to get folded.

Okay now I do use envelopes and I do actually reuse the mailer envelopes I am so glad to see that I'm not the only one who does that
I hate getting all the junk mail but do try to recycle where I can.

I like your filing system. I’m going to crest one and out the tags in alphabetical order.
