I’m so happy to see that Cantonese is still prevalent in Kuala Lumpur, but I’ve heard about the other ones such as Hokkien, Teochew and Hakka are declining a lot sadly. I hope the newer generations are learning their mother tongues, but I do wish to visit Malaysia one day.

Canto is main dialect in KL + Selangor.
Hokkien, Teochew and Hakka mainly converse in other cities in Malaysia, for example Chinese in Penang speak Hokkien most
Will die out soon since the young generation parents only teach mandarin to theirs kids
