Thank you, it’s such a challenge trying to put everything up, I want it ALL on the table lol! my collection has grown so much that’s just not possible. And I can’t fit any more tables in the room! Maybe I’ll relocate Critterland to the basement… 😅
I love how your lighthouse is elevated! I've been trying to figure out how to do that and I will try your trick and use a box so thank you! 🥰 And how fun to see all your new figures and wow wow wow you have the Sylvanian Kitchen! 🎆 I hope I get one one day, I'd love to turn it into a Sizzlers complete with salad bar! 🤣😋 Loved the update! Can't wait to see Critterland completely set up! 💗
Oh my goodness! I used to have that house with the slanted red roof and the skylights! I got it for my 6th or 7th birthday when I was a kid! Would've been '86 or '87. What set was that called? I forget the name but totally remember having that set! I think it came with a bear family. Oh the memories! I love Sylvanian toys! They are so cute!
That's awesome!! I think it's called the "Deluxe Country House" (there's a smaller one that came out first called the "Country House"). My sister had one in '87 or '88, I played with it WAY more than she did lol! Back then I'm pretty sure the furniture and dolls were sold separately, and here in the US the options were more limited than in Japan. The green furniture (and rustic kitchen) were basically it, and I know the bear families were available. And for just a few short years they were "Sylvanian Families" in the US, until a lawsuit from the Sylvanian lightbulb company forced them to change to Calico Critters. My sister had the gray bears and the exact furniture that came with this eBay house! I love the nostalgia Sylvanians bring out!!
It's not clutter, it's collective storing 😁 Besides, I love seeing how Critterland grows! Have you ever had all of your Grand hotels set up at once? And if so, what did they look like? I'm curious to know.
The outfits on these new critters are really lovely! As to the clutter, I say the more-the merrier! If you collect critters, you can’t avoid clutter. Another great video! Hope you are doing well.
Congratulations on getting Sylvanian Kitchen and Honey Bear, it's such a joy when we get our dream sets. I love the maple cat and fennec brother new set, I'm waiting for mine to arrive🤗. The issue of the cape not going over the cat's head is a bit annoying, but it stayed very pretty in the end. Your display is looking beautiful, the ideas of placing Sylvanian on top of the buildings and protection covering the underside of the tables are great, I can't wait for when everything is ready, it will be a giant display!
What a fun haul with so many great additions. Awesome you scored your beekeeper - and the Sylvanian kitchen! So happy for you. I think you did a great job maximizing space on the tables. It is hard to avoid some clutter with such a large collection. I’m struggling with space, too. Hard to get around my house, ha ha. You are going to have so much fun.
Thank you! Some of these I’ve had sitting on my shelf, waiting to do a video before opening, and they just piled up! I’m in love with the new families and collectible critter sets they’d been putting out, but they need to slow down for my sake lol!! 😅
I hear ya!! The new figures are so great. I got the same ones you did - strawberries, maple and fennec, and I chose the reindeer (and not the rabbit or cats) because I loved her orange gingham dress.
Great video, loved seeing all the new items you've gotten recently, so many fantastic figures and sets! I'm so happy you managed to finally add Horace the beekeeper to your collection! 🍯 I like the new set up, I like the back alleyway on the shopping street area. I don't think it looks too cluttered at all, it'll look nice and bustling with some more figures out 👍
Love your set up! So many beautiful buildings 😍 The Sylvanian Kitchen is so cool, it's on my wishlist. I've been looking for the hamburger wagon for ages but so far can't find one in good condition.
More to come! Hopefully sooner than last time lol! I’ve been having so much fun getting back into videos, it’s really helped me get out of my head these last few months. Thanks for watching!! ❤️
so happy to hear and you deserve that joy!!! i’ve been keeping you in my prayers🙏🏻🙏🏻these videos get me through the late college chemistry nights, im so glad God has provided an opportunity for some joy to be sprinkled in all of our lives!!✝️🐭❤️all the best! awaiting the next video!
Its to bad Benjamin the Fennec fox beautiful embroidery is so low on his pants. It's a bit hard to see. There is a seller on eBay who is selling a vintage Sylvanian Families Olive store. I didn't know they had one!
I completely agree, I wish they put it up higher on his outfit! I also saw the olive store, from Tama Boutique. It is not an official set, it is a converted vintage stable. Tama is amazing, so creative and I lover her photography too! I have purchased from her before and it was a great experience. The olive store is beautiful. ❤
Just venturing into CC land having been a doll collector (Pleasant Company/ American Girl and now Ruby Red fashion Friends). I'm curious how to see upcoming sets as well as where is the best place to view all the prior released sets? The Honeybear is one I would love to find as well. Just two families and three sets so far. Plan to combine with Playmobil already here. Btw, I did look at some of your prior videos and the one where you got the Rolls Royce ( or whatever the car is meant to be). I think the steering wheel was upside down for shipping safely. Your layout is amazing. I'm really drawn to the tiny accessories and animals most of all.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Sylvanians!!! There’s an amazing community of collectors here on UA-cam as I’m sure you‘ve discovered. As far as researching sets, there is a Sylvanian fandom you could check out. I’m going to post a “short” soon with the most recent families. The trouble is different sets are released in different countries at different times, and some are exclusive to different markets. But you’ll get the hang of it soon, and ask questions! The Honeybear family is still available many places, LMK what country you’re in and I may be able to help. And thank you on the steering wheel, I will check that! 👍👍
Thank you! I'm in the US, Buckeye County like you as far as I can tell. I need to clarify that I'm looking for Horace the Beekeeper, I just called him Honeybear because I didn't know his name when I posted, but do now. I saw one on eBay at an outrageous price.@@AdventuresinCritterland
I don’t know, I hope so! I wonder sometimes if they wait to see how well a set does in the main markets before releasing it here. Fingers crossed!! In the meantime, KobeeJapan may have more available, it was about $20, they ship to the USA. However, if that is all you order the shipping won’t be worth it ($23 fixed no matter how much you buy).
I'm discovering a lot of frustration with setting up my Stlvanians as well. And I have much less space than you do there. I'm always amazed at how much bigger the sets are than I imagine them to be! Do you have an instagram or Facebook account for us to follow you?
how cool is that your critterland has a critterland
The table is a little cluttered but I feel as though it’s a good clutter because everything has a purpose so I love it!!

I think the table looks lovely. It looks like a real town and it feels so alive

Love that apron! And mushroom babies?! 😍
Everything you have is adorable! I love it all. I don’t think the table is too cluttered.

I’m so mad at UA-cam! What’s the point of clicking the bell, if they never alert me when you post a video?! 😭
I’m so happy you’re back at it.
Thank you!! Yeah it's been a welcome distraction. Hope you and your family are doing well ❤
@@AdventuresinCritterland seeing how precious life is and trying to make the best of it. 🤗❤️
How adorable are the curtains in the kitchen window house. Would love to see this set in more detail:)
Thank you! I am actually posting the Sylvanian Kitchen video in the next day or two!

Très belle réalisation du village, tous les personnages sont bien à leur place et mis en valeur. Merci pour cette présentation. 👍🥰

I love your videos, I would like to have a collection as big as yours. Greetings from Chile✌
Yes! Cannot wait to watch an updated tour - you always inspire new ideas and your voice is very soothing. (Maybe I just like midwestern accents haha)
Definitely more roads

As of January 2024, kobeejapan shows $13 (or $18 for faster) for shipping to the USA. Is that wrong? I’m really tempted to place an order
