I'm doing believeathon with my 4 year old. We've covered most of it with picture books I'm reading to her. All I have left is to read the three middle grade books i picked for myself.
Horrorstor has been my favorite Grady Hendrix so far (and one of my favorites of the year)! The catalogue formal was super fun and, as a former retail employee, it was fun to see all the standard "characters" you come across when you work those types of jobs.
Ive read two books for believathon so far! The Mystery of Black Hollow Lane for the mystery prompt and Dragon Pearl for the other world prompt. I really recommend Black Hollow Lane its like dark academia for kids.
I think I'll get the Morrigan series in the new year. I'm moving next year and I'm not buying many books until then. I'll read them for me and read them to my boys. I've already read the boys the first 3 books in the Harry Potter series and up until Voldemort rising in Goblet.
I just finished Words of RAdiancem myself and loved it! They synopsis is great, I am the worst at trying ti summerize books especially ones as complex as this lol
Horrorstor was so strange and weird 😂 I actually had wished that Grady Hendrix had kept up the catalogue style! I went in expecting the entire book to be told that way and I think it could’ve been really wild and ambitious if it had been, but it felt like a pretty average horror the way it was done.
Hey, Becca!!! I just ordered my blanket. I ordered the same one you're wearing on your video. I can't wait to get it. Thank you for the 10% recommended. Are you accepting any candle orders..Great video!!!😊😊😊
I love the Stormlight Archive with my entire soul but Edgedancer was not my favorite. I like the main character in small doses and as comic relief but spending that much time with her was too much for me
The Southern Book Club's Guide to Selling Vampires is one of my favorite books of the year, so hopefully you'll like it!

I loved Hollowpox! I am doing Believathon and have read six books so far - a good reading month!
I’m so so intrigued by My Dark Vanessa!!
How satisfying is it that this video is 22 minutes and 22 secs long?! Just me? 😂
That's weird, it shows 22:21 on my phone🤔
My favourite number and my birthday number 22

I had the same feelings about the gore in HorrorStor. I still need to check out Grady Hendrix's other books.

I just finished My Dark Vanessa too and had very similar thoughts!
Grace Gummer does an excellent job narrating the audiobook!
I was wondering if you had a recommendation for an adult fantasy that’s not too overwhelming? I am very new to the genre but would love to get into it
Mistborn and six of crows In my opinion
🖤🖤🖤
I'm also doing the clear ur shit readathon, and I've read four books for it already!
My dark Vanessa is so good 😭😭😭
