Bro when should i extrude a wall element as a plate ( as a thick plate ) and when should i extrude it as a wall and when i choose element type wall whats the difference between sub type : membrane and plate ,and wall type : plate base and CRB.
why do you use the stifness scale factor for those elements?
Dear Midas Team, first of all thank you very much for this helpful demonstration, please can we have the technical presentation in pdf, also we need a seminar related to various types of walls and plates in Midas gen and when to use them, also please if you can explain the stiffened thickness option under the (Section property tab- Thickness- Stiffened) for creating voided or ribbed slabs.
Thank you very much, my dear brother, for all the efforts and the excellent information you provide. If possible, you can provide a comprehensive and detailed training course to study a multi-story building through the gen midas program.
Hi Sir. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. Can I clarify the punching check consideration on the slab? On your model, columns are interconnected with girders. Does punching considered the presence of girders or being neglected??
midas gen doesn't consider the beams connected in the columns. the software computes by this way if selected by code in their analysis
pasend naman po ng pdf
Many thanks for this presentation...
Thanks bro : )
Thanks
Thanks Malee :)
