I had the pleasure of meeting Gary at a bar in Trancas near Malibu. I was having a drink with Spanky Mcfarlane and she and Gary knew each other, we hung out for just a minute. This was just after The Buddy Holly Story. I remember he had so much energy, he also was wearing the coolest jacket, a Gold Jacket with a Bengal Tiger on the back, Wow ! He was very cool.
She got hit by a drunk driver. The accident happened after we had been married for quite some time. Her processing of what is going on around her, and her speech is now slower and she can't get all of her words out. It has changed her personality somewhat as far as her outlook on life. Brain injuries effect everybody differently. The good thing is that she hasn't let it slow her down. She approaches each day striving to do the best she can.
Love this guy... been a fan ever since I found out about him. Honesty, insightful and funny as fuck. You can judge him all you want, but you can't deny the force that is Gary Busey. The gravitational pull he has is amazing, his story is humbling and he is a true Legend if you read his Story.

Gary had Cancer in his sinuses and behind his eye. It nearly killed him, again. It is a miracle that he lived through that one too! God has given him a mission to all people. Blessings on him and his family.
