You know what’s really funny is I went to go and look at some stuff on David info tiger site in site and apparently somebody at Dragon had the same thought as I did. Here’s a quote. “Unfortunately, somebody at Dragon assumed this was a mistake! Later issues of the 'A' sprue had a modified seat that faced forward. Some of these sprues were sold in Initial Tiger boxes. They also appeared in the first samples of the Late Tiger kit.”😂
Dragon came out with another initial that corrected whatever mistakes were in this one . Still. The initial tiger 1 from dragon was a game changer in models. 2005 was a great year
While their main purpose was for wading, they could also have been employed to keep out inclement weather, dust, or debris in adverse conditions if needed. However, under normal operating conditions, the ports would typically remain unplugged to allow the crew quick access to use personal firearms or eject spent shell casings. The inclusion of these plugs reflects the design priorities of the Tiger I during its early production stages, emphasizing versatility for a range of combat environments.
I accidentally due to lack of coffee, deleted a comment from chelsieboy? That the pistol port on the right side is offset to the right but should be to the left. Sorry about that 😊 from Bydens site”This "left offset" is confirmed by almost every relevant photograph. The only exception is Tiger "100" when captured by the Russians, but it is obvious that the Russians disassembled that particular port, so we can assume it was originally like all the other ones.”
There's something very odd/unsettling about sitting a vehicle backwards, is there not! You bet you know this already, Scalemates= Search =Rye Field Tiger 1 W/interior= instructions download. I find the site a great research tool with their download instructions/illustrations sheets. I've never built any Tiger Tanks, I'm bit tempted by the Rye Field Tiger 1 RM-003 or RM-5075 Moscow park display tank..hmmm🤔
Have a great build.

Merry Christmas uncle jet and family!
Merry Christmas, you too! 🎄
merry christmas uncle jet
Merry Christmas 🎅
The loader chair faced back, that way it was easier to maneuver, and load ammunition, as well as find the spare ammunition
Did you have that on the top of your head or did you Google it?😊
Just googled it dude. The seat is faced back.
@JETScaleModels I built Ryefiekds 5025 full interior tiger 1 and I used just about every tiger 1 book I have in my arsenal for that build
The plug you put in the pistol ports?
That should only be there if the tank is rigged for snorkeling. Otherwise, it is stored elsewhere.
👍

Why do you have the Swedish nationel anthem in the intro? Not very fitting in my opinion 🤔
Sorry I didn’t know I changed it.No disrespect meant- I just thought it was a poignant piece of music- live and learn
