My Dad had the Mrk1 2.5 Pi in White, as family we travelled frm Shrewsbury to Ramsgate Hovercraft to Calais through France over Pyrenees mountains on to Llorret De Ma,Costa Brava Spain & back early 70's ..unforgettable experience i was 10yrs old ..i had Chicane 2000 whilst in Capetown not as good as the original model..memories..
In bathroom blue! I had a '72 Triumph 1500 in that colour but it crumbled to brown dust in Bangor in the early eighties. Such was the expected lifetimes of these things back then. Terrible shame.

I had a GT6 ( SAH tuned) A TR6, i converted to carbs due economy, The 2500 was a great looking car too,
My father had exactly the same 2.5 in 'ice blue' when I was a kid.
Me too! I kid you not. In South Africa. 1973.
So did my dad! Glasgow, Scotland, ice blue with auto gearbox.

It IS beautiful. That is true. Apart from the slightly sickly colour.
But I always preferred the Mk 1.
Incorrect wheels and number plates spoil it a little otherwise amazing cars
