This article was published in 2012. Research in this area has been done since way back. I'm an adept of the stem cell therapy, and I wonder when is this technology going to be approved as a universal technique to replace the old fashion operations? On another hand, if these cells are able to repair any type of tissue, this technique will make disposable the existing surgeons who prefer to keep applying their old fashion techniques.

Mi Gi, look into the work of Dr Terry Wahls, MD (not stem cell related, but she had a remarkable reversal of her advanced MS symptoms) - lots of info about her journey & protocol on YT. All the best

Where is the research in Stem cells in regards to Steven Hawks's disease? Why nobody proposed to use the stem cells in his treatment? Also they're multiple millionaires and billionaires who are sick and dying from "not treatable" diseases. Why stem cell scholars are not trying to help these types of people first to prove the theory is possible and so encourage multiple humans to participate in this type of treatment?

I would like to see the name of just one patient and can you name one, that had a successful knee pain stem cell injection for an arthritic knee and the are improved say 2 or 3 years out. Just one name is all we need! You docs will sometimes show an x-ray with no name or post a video where nobody can make a comment.

I had autologus stem cell therapy last year. First injection of 50M stem cells in Mar 2017 and the second injection of another 50M stem cells in Oct 2017. My arthritis symptoms and chronically swollen knee has improved greatly and I have much greater knee function than before.

Had a procedure in late February 2018, today, December 27, 2018 my knee is doing great and although was an expensive procedure, was the best decision I ever made regarding my right knee and avoiding total knee replacement!

Vlodimir. You should have checked in what phase the treatment you took was at. Perhaps the clinic you visited was part of a scam, or you were part of a feasibility clinical study and did not even know that.
At any rate, calling the whole stem cell idea a scam is a display of ignorance.
