Here's the crazy thing about Kanade, if you close your eyes and listen to her rhythm, fills and licks, what you can imagine is a 60 year old sullied jazz drummer hiding in the shadows of a smoke-filled night club bangin' out a meager living for the mere joy of playing with his quartet. Simply put, her craft and skill transcend time, and her future is truly limitless.
I can not stop myself from watching these videos. She is just amazing. Can you imagine at 11, 12 ,13 and already playing jazz. When I was 11, 12, 13, I was playing marbles. I love you K Sato.
she should come to new york with her parents and meet some jazz greats.im sure they would welcome her and probably would be a life changing experience. she is truly gifted.
I never used to watch drumming, but then I saw Kanade. Wow she makes a difference. Her playing is magnificent and she obviously like what shes doing. Her smile makes also me smile. Im absolutely a fan of hers now and watch her on UA-cam every day.

Great job Kanade playing this very challenging arrangement for any drummer 2-3 times your age. You nailed all the horn phrases beautifully. Maynard would have been very impressed.
Your taste in music is quite interesting. I hear many tunes that I never heard before. Some of the tunes you like are really beautiful.
