Lol I just realized this was something released today and not an older video lol. Idk if this will apply at all, but have you tried vital synth? It’s free and as I’m told is more powerful than serum. Just curious. The sound design on it goes absolutely wild though.
Hey had a question i used to gain stage my songs but at the end they don't sound good feel really low volume and i show lot the artists song like Skrillex , excision songs are really damm loud ..is in dubstep/bass music gain staging not important? right?
ive never even heard of gain staging. In case youre wondering how I master my tracks, I just put a limiter on the master and then OTT with 5%, no compression. I mix everything around those two parameters. Seems to work well for me to get that "loud" sound
I dont know if this will help but when your making your songs, during the mixing stage the volume should be low(atleast not exceeding -3db),and after you finish your whole song, you export it and start the mastering on new project, where you let your songs hit 0 db using compression and such, you can probably master it on the same project file but sometimes it may lag depending on the project size
perfect example of layering, the main bass could use some cleaning up and maybe some more fundamental layers but overall its great!
