Hey, french here. Actually inhabitant of the town you've stopped to take a coffee break, in Agon-Coutainville. I was definetely shocked of seeing someone from another country vlogging here. I've really enjoyed these childhood landscapes filmed with such quality. I also want to say that I've been to class with the young oyster farmer and that was insane to see him here ! Greetings from Normandy
Hey! Normandy is the only area of Europe I've visited, for about 3 weeks in 1981, walking and with a van everywhere in towns and beaches staying with locals. I absolutely LOVED being there and experiencing the culture and landscapes. Love from Canada.
I come from a tourist hotspot in the Scottish Highlands called Glenfinnan - now famous for the steam train sequences in Harry Potter. I'd love for you to do a "The Scotland No One Sees". There is more to the place than "the Harry Potter bridge"... It's great how you manage to communicate the culture and the vibe of an area beyond the iconic and Instagrammable.
I'm 21 and I've lived in the Manche since I was born, and honestly I think it's so cool to see such well realised shots of those places, during the rugby world cup I often went to the "enfants de choeur"to watch the matches live with my mates, and it's pretty funny to see that same bar in a youtube video like that, to stumble across it by chance. Thank you for your video, it's really nice to see "tourists" taking an interest in places other than Paris (even if the Mont St Michel is actually really touristy haha). Cheers mate!
Your hometown looks like it was taken from Middle Earth in Lord of the Rings. Just from the outside, this must be one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen. How was it growing up there?
@@solokom I can say growing here was great (I'm also a local). As a matter of fact, after years of living in various cities in France and abroad, I came back to settle here !
What a magical reminder of the beauty of life :) I've lived in Strasbourg and now live in Toulouse. I've seen so much beauty in this country, and this video inspires me and shows that there is so much more to be explored!
Even though Mont St Michel is a touristic destination, the way he visits it and transmits his experience offers a different perspective on the place. I don't think the name is inappropriate ! (:
What the hell are you on, The Mont Saint Michel is indeed the most famous out of paris. But it's just a small place in all of Manche ... it's a small departement with way less tourism than the southern coast or even Brittany. And another thing, from the video, it seems like he visited a lot of "unknown" locations where the tourists never go. So in all and all, i think he's right to call his trip that way ...
Hey Alex, What an epic adventure. There is something so unique about your videography and photography. You are able to understand the details and the utmost presence of your subject. I have to say that there is an old world ubiquitous essence that is all over France. Whether it is the simplicity of Cafe on Wheels, the meadows with the sheep roaming, the castle and the $8.00 pastries. The abundance and sustainability is truly remarkable. Thanks for sharing! Come to Canada to ride the waves in Tofino, B.C.
Incroyable! Your "No One Sees Series" Are Expertly Executed! A year From Now I Can See This Series In. Different Locations Taking This Channel To The Incredible Heights it Deserves!
First time watching your videos. Just wanted to say that you are great at what you are doing dont stop and keep going!! Cant wait for many more adventures
I hope people realise the insane amount of effort it takes to produce footage like this. Every 5 seconds of B-Roll can be an hour of stopping, unpacking, walking, shooting, walking, repacking .....etc. Then there's walking the mud-flats of Mont St Michel, holding a few grands worth of camera gear. Nice job. I moved from England to South West France. I'd live in Normandie or Brittany if the weather was better. It's a beautiful area that we've spent a lot of time visiting.
Interesting video, though I think Mont St. Michel is the most visited "attraction" in France. I do agree that Normandy is often overlooked in the dash south.
I've biked these paths along la Manche so many times, the countryside and seaside reminds me alot of Scotland and Ireland accross the channel, a sort of tranquil but fierce beauty
I was born in Granville, Manche. Although I never really lived there I regularly visit relatives. I think it's one of the most livable areas of the country because of its peacefulness. I gotta say it's the first time I see it being captured so well, truly beautiful and sensational!
Alpes-maritimes is very pretty but a bit expensive. And south west is very underrated. The diversity of france landscapes is incredible, but usually people just want to go to paris
south west is even underrated by peolple living in the south west. The fabulous coast from fouras to Ronce-lesBais, with the fantastic view from the bridge of "La Seudre" then the wild coast from "Galon d'or" to La Coubre, and the cliff from st georges de didonne to Talmont ( and its small and unknown mont-saint-michel) is totally unknown from even people from Bordeaux ! They barely know the most beautiful lighthouse of the world, Cordouan, is by there and that's all.
The France no one sees.. haha very American, thats actually a typical school trip for European school kids who study French in school, Like MANY others I’ve been there too. Also a typical tourist place to go to and VERY well known among people in Europe LOL
Absolutely mesmerizing and glad to have you back Alex! This adventure in La Manche, France was a breathtaking journey. Oh man and the pictures, landscapes and hidden gems showcased in this video are truly remarkable. Thanks for sharing this incredible travel experience with us.
A honest suggestion: If anyone is planning to visit France, go to Paris to cross it from your bucket list but also try to visit other places besides it. There are beautiful regions like Côte d'Azur (Nice, Cannes, Antibes) Alsace (Strasbourg, Colmar, Mulhouse) or if you like big cities, Lyon, Toulouse or even Marseille. They are cleaner, less saturated with tourists and the people are generally kinder, specially the more you approach the country side. Paris has the issues all big metropolis have (think of New York, LA, London). Most of the bad rep tourists have given France come from there. It's not a France problem, it's a big city problem.

I mean there is more to every place. But only so many things the average person would travel a long way to experience.

"The France No One Sees"... You're literally at the most famous tourist destination in all of France outside of Paris.
Lmao
Hahahah true, this place isn’t exactly a hidden gem😂
“Outside of Paris,” so the statement stands; it’s something no one sees
Even though Mont St Michel is a touristic destination, the way he visits it and transmits his experience offers a different perspective on the place. I don't think the name is inappropriate ! (:

I'm from la Hague, thanks a lot, it's a pleasure to see someone from another country enjoy our countryside
Sending this to my Dad who now adventures from his armchair but will appreciate how you poke around a less beaten path 🤍
This is the France I'd love to see.

A lovely video. It’s the France I see, I live in rural France and am lucky to enjoy similar experiences at first hand.
Fascinating views, amazing country, astonishing photos! Thank you for showing the world your vision of beauty!
Incroyable! Your "No One Sees Series" Are Expertly Executed! A year From Now I Can See This Series In. Different Locations Taking This Channel To The Incredible Heights it Deserves!
What a beautiful video! I went to France last year briefly and only had a short stay in Paris. This makes me want to go back. Thank you for sharing.
Absolutely love it! You should make a short docu-series on your adventures!
Merci pour ce p’tit roadtrip dans ces si belles régions de France !
Mention spéciale pour tes clichés des ostréiculteurs, superbes.
I love this type of content. please produce more of these videos where you share your photos along with your travel adventures
First time watching your videos. Just wanted to say that you are great at what you are doing dont stop and keep going!! Cant wait for many more adventures
I love how the film photos get their own frames during the video. And the music, bravo!
Oh, that's where I live! It's indeed very beautiful. Lot of spots to go on a little hike.
Wow, such beautiful documentation of your trip. Loved it.
i had no idea this place existed. looks absolutely stunning and unreal
I took a road trip across the whole country of France. It was pretty cool, tons of grass hills with beautiful homes throughout
This was such an awesome video! The scenery reminded me of my home island of Guernsey, definitely need to do a trip like this.
Absolutely beautiful watch from beginning to end. Would love to visit sometime.
Stunning. Thanks for sharing the behind the scenes! I hope for more to come!

Where are you in the south west? I lived there for a few years, maybe I know the place...
Hey, it is my first time on your channel.
I quit photography a while ago. Watching this showed me how much i miss it. This video is really cool.
Absolutely Beautiful!
"no one sees?" Mont St. Michel is one of the biggest tourist attractions in France!
Did not expect that France would look like this. Amazing
Interesting video, though I think Mont St. Michel is the most visited "attraction" in France.
I do agree that Normandy is often overlooked in the dash south.
Really enjoyed that! Great editing zeroing in on the best parts, and so much variety. So beautiful!
And thats why I want to move to France - such incredible beauty!
I've biked these paths along la Manche so many times, the countryside and seaside reminds me alot of Scotland and Ireland accross the channel, a sort of tranquil but fierce beauty
I don't even cycle but the footage here is so beautiful. I hope to visit one day
This video restored my passion to come back to photography! well done!!!!

Can we please have the songs playlist? It's awesome!
Beautiful film.
This is one spot in the entire world that is on the top of places I would like to visit for at least 2 nights.

That's like a painting out of a high fantasy book.

I've seen this place on a liminal space photo. The topography here is insane

good content does not require whistles and bells ( and colored LEDs in the background) . Looking forward to see more from you!
