Amazing!! I was there! It was seemingly impossible at that time to get such a flat spin profile and still be able to fly out of it. This was a game changer for freestyle aerobatics.....the term "3D" didn't exist....then.
It is neat to see how the hobby has progressed. Two things jumped out. He was relatively high in the air and the roll rate was incredibly slow compared to today. I loved the up right flat spin to inverted flat spin.
@@zackriden79 definitely.. servos and engines are much better than what it was in the 80s & 90s.... so its obvious...nothing special..but todays young pilots can only do 3D but not many can do F3A & precision Aerobatics... its unfortunate..
I prefer this graceful style of 3dish flying verses the modern day "Spin and twirl the plane as fast as you can" style. I also prefer blues rock over speed metal. Going faster does mean your better.
Well maybe you should post a video to UA-cam showing your skills during a companion! But you will need to be doing maneuvers that are unheard of by today’s standards!!

El mejor en 3D Somenzini. Y ese 3D era hermoso y no el de los últimos años que lo hacen a demasiada velocidad.
