Creating a Food Forest: Ep 4 - The first plants are in!

We have started to plant out our food forest.
Over the next month we will be planting lots more!

I Wish I had your space. I have a small area on a hill where I have made raised gardens under the fruit trees.....Im sure I can succeed......one day lol. In the Kaipara by the sea, so although we generally have a brilliant climate when it blows it blows and we probably cop a lot of seaspray.

Plant more salt tolerant edibles and wind tolerant fruit trees

You can tell from your plant selection that you're located in the far north of NZ, rather than the far south where I am. If I tried planting bananas they would have to come with polarfleeces.
Are you going to cover your pathways as a grass and weed suppressant?
Hate to do it but I'm going to have to use weed mat and stone chip as a barrier to convolvulus and cooch.

Thanks, yeah just out of Whangarei.
Probably just more mulch/wood chip soon for the pathways!
