Laibach has had some love and hate support due to North Korea asshat Kim Jong-un. But one thing as an American music lover, Laibach is by far one of the most diverse and very talented bands I was exposed to working as a DJ on the radio and playing their sendication. I was introduced to this Yugoslavia underground band in the late 80s releasing their album - Let it Be and I fell in love with their music since.
Laibach themselves are happy to know that they were the main inspiration for Rammstein. The former one said that they were for grownups while Rammstein was for teens.
The artist overdraw the pronounciation to make it sound a lil more like Hitler. Normal German spoken language sounds way more smooth. Hitler also did the same to give his speeches more impression and power. He trained his speeches in front of a mirror like an actor in a theater. Most people dont know that Hitlers private voice was sexy and charming. I showed some female friends of me a video with Hitlers private voice ( only the audio). All of them unisono said that this guy probably must be tall ans sexy. When i told them it was Hitler, no ne of them did believe me until they saw the whole video. ua-cam.com/video/TrZNMPRhrT8/v-deo.html

Typos: Von qualitaet das Lebens > Von Qualitaet des Lebens Bruederchen, komm tanz mit mir > Bruederchen, kommt tanzt mit mir (2x) (While the original is technically correct as singular, it makes a lot more sense as a plural, hence pluralizing the verbs by adding the 't's.) Meine Freunde, tanz mit mir > Meine Freunde, tanzt mit mir (2x) (This can be only plural, so 't' is only grammatical form.) Kammerad > Kamerad (spelled correctly later on) zussamen > zusammen Deutsches Volk, komm tanz mit mir > Deutsches Volk, kommt tanzt mit mir (This one is tricky; the noun is singular, but collective, so plural verbs with 't' make more sense to me.) And ae, ue would be better as umlauted ä, ü, but they're not wrong.
When they played in North Korea, they were escorted by literal fun police. To make sure as they put it "They were not to exhibit any outward signs of exuberance."

I was listening to Rammsteins new stuff just now and im like fuck this .. i need Laibach.
hm. for me both are great. very different stuff
Laibach themselves are happy to know that they were the main inspiration for Rammstein. The former one said that they were for grownups while Rammstein was for teens.
I honestly like Rammstwin better. Laibach is too obscure for me most of the time. This is a good jam though lol
***** I know they were inspired by a lot of things. But I think they are just more listenable.
***** lol I respect that. I just can't get into itn
I'm proud to say I was a fan of Laibach long before John Oliver mentioned them.
Something about come dance with me? Allusions to radical politics but a call to come dance with you regardless of faction?
...spot on....

To my ears it was , " I SLIDE RIGHT HERE "
EINS ZWEI DREI VIER
Nothing but praise for this song, the contrast between the lyrics and music/singing is amazing!
Also, he's the sexiest man alive, in my opinion.
I was with you until the "sexiest man alive" part.
Hahahaha :) Well, I meant to say "ONE OF the sexiest men". But to each his own, I guess.
He is pretty hot tbh.
@@victorconway444 LOL zuriel
Well, I am with you until the end of your comment...
haha ... or chaRR chaRR, if you prefer 😁. What would the world do without this wonderful accent? No nazi movies, no ghoulish kicks’n’thrills, no zombies with a nice germanic twang, no iron sky .... how boring the world would be! Please, bRRRing us moRRRe!
This is the first Euroact to perform in North Korea.
Einfach kein Deutscher in den Kommentaren XD

Nope aber durchaus möglich
Doch hier
Ist im Ausland wahrscheinlich beliebter.😉
@Die NWO sieht ALLES! Leider..
Our new music to celebrate the transition to authoritarianism!
Glorious!
Typos:
Von qualitaet das Lebens > Von Qualitaet des Lebens
Bruederchen, komm tanz mit mir > Bruederchen, kommt tanzt mit mir (2x) (While the original is technically correct as singular, it makes a lot more sense as a plural, hence pluralizing the verbs by adding the 't's.)
Meine Freunde, tanz mit mir > Meine Freunde, tanzt mit mir (2x) (This can be only plural, so 't' is only grammatical form.)
Kammerad > Kamerad (spelled correctly later on)
zussamen > zusammen
Deutsches Volk, komm tanz mit mir > Deutsches Volk, kommt tanzt mit mir (This one is tricky; the noun is singular, but collective, so plural verbs with 't' make more sense to me.)
And ae, ue would be better as umlauted ä, ü, but they're not wrong.
2024, this song nas 21 years since release.
So.. true..
Quite possibly one of the strangest things i've seen on the internet...........i couldn't stop watching
Fuck my life 😥 ı was listening only Rammstein how did ı miss this glorious shit
still lit
Loved it. Laibach is pure force. Laibach is a totalitarian, heroic state.
When they played in North Korea, they were escorted by literal fun police. To make sure as they put it "They were not to exhibit any outward signs of exuberance."
I have a friend who'd love this.
Play it for him when you guys try to go to sleep ...
BEST

came here because of John Oliver, stayed because it's surprisingly catchy...
Heilige Scheiße, ich wusste nicht, dass so eine Perle an Musik existiert. Ohrbassmus!
Dude wore out 14 pairs of boots to make this video...
His drill instructor said he was the best marching soldier in all of Khazakstan... :)
All I wanna know is, where can I get boots like that?
...and that hat?
I have a sore throat just listening to him.
Laibach ist super, tolle einprägsame Stimme hat der Sänger. Auch der Sound generell ist einfach super :)
Amazing tune. I can't believe it's been 20 years since the original release of this gem
Their german is..... interesting.
Because they are trolls :).
this video should just be those marching boots.
Hey, feel like wasting a good chunk of your life? Lets start an argument on UA-cam. I have differing political opinions than you!
Fuck you you goddamn (insert insult specific to you political stance here).
Roland Deschain Fucking (libtard or fascist, delete as appropriate) you're the all that's wrong with (insert country).

@@nodelogic Fuck you! This is exactly what's wrong with people like you.
Oh man... you couldn't pay me enough to be a poletician! It's an impossible task keeping everyone happy...
Klasse Nachfolgesong für DAF und Tanz den Mussolini.
that's the song i'm listening to at night when i can't sleep. gives me strength and more. thanks to my Laibach's friends.
This song is giving me a strong urge to invade a neighboring country...
Free The Paedos please invade Germany, they need it.
A dance invasion?
Hopefully, not Poland, lol!
Maybe Poland?
On your own?

FUßBALL EM SONG : EIN LIED FÜR DEUTSCHE von eddy
The weirdest thing about this band is that they are not German. They are from the former Yugoslavian state: Slovenia.
I'm here because of Peter Steele
