Catholic here who loves the way Pastor Murray teaches. What a blessing to have these recordings to continue to listen and learn. God gave us a man gifted with divine biblical insight. The Holy Spirit most certainly spoke through him.
Dont see how you could possibly be a catholic when everything in the bible is against it. Assuming you are actually being honest about Pastor Arnold Murray. If you studied with Pastor Arnold for any length of time i would think it be impossible to be Catholic unless you ignore entire books and chapters etc.
We studied with brother Arnold, Pastor Murray from the beginning, after his USMC days. Mom is 85 and always has Shepherds Chapel on TV. Even now with Dennis. Jesus is good to us by giving us such a wonderful teacher of his living Word. All praise and glory to Him. Stay prayerful friends, do not fear and love one another.

I absolutely love this man and his son. I didn't find him until right before he passed. He helped win my mom over to the Lord. I have been Christian since I was little and my mom just never would listen to me or anyone else. Years later I am in my thirties and still praying for my moms salvation. She was having a hard time sleeping and woke up every morning at 4am. She found Pastor Murry on early morning TV when nothing else but infomercials were on. Then suddenly she is asking all kids of questions and correcting me when I was taught wrong about things in church. Total turn around and she is finally saved! Praise Jesus my mommy is finally saved after 30 + years trying!!! Thanks Pastor Arnold and Dennis!!!!! We love you! Thanks for sharing their work

Ask God to help you. Then, you need the right tools to study Bible correctly: a reliable version, not watered down, such as older King James. Beside it keep a modern version by which to compare passages until your Bible familiarity grows--perhaps the New King James. I like the two apps, "Bible Concordance with Strong's", and the "Bible Hubb". I have many printed versions of the Bible also but I always go back to this little offline Concordance in order to find verses. Fine tuning our understanding of language: In the word LINKS given that go to Concordance you can find the ORIGINAL word used, whether Greek for New Testament or Hebrew for Old Testament words. (You can see how many different ways a word was used in Scripture. There maybe slightly different connotations for the very same word.) This is the case for every language on Earth. We must try to get the right connotation in the verse in question in order to get the meaning just right. All these fine distinctions help us to "discern" or "rightly divide the Word of truth". ... but you can just look up "WISDOM" in thatConcordance... It will present very many passages: many in Job, Psalms, in the books by Solomon. "The fear/reverence of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.. Psalm 111:10. God Bless. P.S.
